A skeleton with print-in-place hinges at the shoulders, hips and knees, so the arms and legs swing as it moves and it settles back into a dangle when it stops. It prints as one piece with no supports and no assembly, 44 mm long, with a hole through the skull for a hook. Order a pair and you get two skeletons. The "+ hooks" option arrives with the metal hooks fitted; the plain one is the printed plastic on its own.

A skull with flat faceted planes rather than curves, with the top of the cranium hollowed out for a small plant or a succulent. 4.3" tall, printed in one piece - a Halloween pot that stays on the shelf in November.

A pinecone geocache: a hollow cone with a screw-on cap and a loop at the top for a string or a length of wire, so it can hang in a branch. It prints in two pieces and neither needs supports. For a cache that lives outdoors, PETG keeps its shape in a hot car or a sunny hedge better than PLA. Designed by Soalar, who remixed it from Izak02's Pine cone cache - both makers are credited on this page. Printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

An arrow holder that takes up to twelve arrows, for shafts up to 11/32 of an inch across. One arrow or a dozen loaded on the same side, it stays upright, and it needs no supports; the designer printed his on an A1 mini. It is not a frugal print - the designer says so himself - so it is priced by what it weighs rather than by the pose. Designed by StickMan and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A door corner for Halloween: a cat with a knife, cut to sit over the corner of a doorframe and be read from across the room. 7.9 by 7.8 inches and 5 mm thick, it prints flat in about an hour with no supports, and a 0.6 mm nozzle is an option the designer mentions for a chunkier line. Designed by H & R 3D and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-ND 4.0), unchanged as published. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A strip that threads onto a guitar strap and holds a stack of picks, so a fresh one is within reach in the middle of a song: 100 mm long and 25 mm wide, printed in one piece. A record sleeve stands on a ledge under a patterned back panel, and the ledge carries NOW PLAYING across its face in relief, so the record on the shelf is announced rather than guessed at. 200 mm wide and 159 mm tall - wide enough for a 12 inch sleeve - printed in one piece with no supports under the sign. A largemouth bass on a rock, mouth open, fins up, printed as one piece with the base built in: a shelf or desk piece for somebody who would rather be on the water. Two sizes, and both are measured off the designer's own files - 97 mm nose to tail, and 190 mm for the mantelpiece. The smaller one is the same mesh scaled down and supported, so the detail is the same at both sizes. Designed by AUTROJAN and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0). A capo in two printed parts: a jaw that sits across the strings and the lever that clamps it down, 92 mm wide so it spans a standard six-string fretboard. It goes on the neck above the fret and holds the strings at the new position, which is what lets one shape be played in any key. Designed by Kevdev, a remix of the Guitar Capo by HarleyPrints, and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A plectrum printed flat at half a millimetre, 27 mm tall and 24 mm across, with the designer's design across the face - the pun in the name is the whole idea. Thin picks bend more than thick ones, so this is the one for strumming rather than for shredding. Designed by marshal.meacham and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). A plate of music notes cut flat at 3 mm: single quavers, beamed pairs, a dotted note and the odd small rest, from 25 mm up to 67 mm long, so a wall, a noticeboard or the front of a piano can be dressed with them. They print lying down, which means no supports and a clean face straight off the plate. Designed by EcneNomma and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). A rail that a CD jewel case stands in, ribbed along its length so the case leans back instead of sliding forward, on four short feet that keep the disc off the shelf. 149 mm wide and 30 mm tall - the width of a standard case, with a little room either side. Designed by ToToKia and printed under Creative Commons Public Domain. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A pick holder with four feet that stands on an amp or a desk: slanted slots take plectrums by the tip so they can be pulled out one at a time, and the block is 90 mm long, 28 mm wide and 12 mm tall. The slots are cut at an angle, which is what stops a pick sliding back down into the holder. Designed by gareth7562 and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). A practice mute for trombone, printed in three parts: the long tapered body that goes down into the bell, the flared cup that caps it, and the small collar that keeps the two together. 250 mm long and 193 mm across the cup, so it takes a full-size bell. The cup is what does the muting, so the horn can be played in an apartment without the neighbours learning the set list. Four plectrum shapes, two of each, printed flat as one sheet: a teardrop, a jazz point, a wide triangle and a rounded standard, at 1.0 and 1.4 mm so a player can find the thickness they like without buying four packs. Each pick is about 34 mm long and the texture on the back of the thicker ones keeps a sweaty thumb where it belongs. A snowball maker that presses an 80 mm ball and lets it go whole: two bowl halves on scissor arms, printed in place with no supports and no screws, plus a dowel for the hinge. The designer tested it through Alaskan winters; 0.12 mm layers keep the overhangs happy, and he publishes a heavier five-wall profile for hard-packed snow if you want this one built that way. A screw-top capsule for the small things that have to stay dry: matches, pills, a spare battery, a couple of picks. A loop on the cap hangs it from a backpack or a bike frame. Six sizes, 48 mm at the smallest and 128 mm at the largest, each printing as a container and its cap with no supports. The designer's optional TPU gasket - the part that makes it properly waterproof - is not something the shop prints, so as printed the thread keeps splashes and pocket lint out rather than a soaking. A hook keeper that clips onto the rod handle and gives a lure somewhere to sit between casts, instead of swinging at the line. Three sizes, for rod handles of three diameters; the designer prints his in PETG and that is what the shop prints here, since this is a part that goes to the water. A lid that presses onto an open drinks can and slides shut, keeping dust, wasps and debris out of a beer or a soda between sips. Two fits are on offer: the standard can, whose lid measures 1.4 by 1.9 inches, and a wider one at 1.5 by 2.4 inches for a fatter 16 oz rim. Each prints as a lid and its sliding cover, and the standard lid also comes in the designer's looser-fitting version for a can that runs tight.
