Get something printed

Three ways in. If you know roughly how heavy the part is, you can see where a print usually lands straight away. A file or a link comes back as a written quote by email, because a file has to be measured and a licence read - and because the price of a part is more than its weight: supports, orientation, finishing and setup all go into it. We do not take payment here; the quote arrives by email and we arrange it from there.

Easiest of all: just email a photo. A picture from your phone is enough to start - send it to hello@roxium.ca and we will come back with a price.

Roughly how heavy is it?

Type the grams and we will show the range a print like that usually falls in. It is a guide, not an invoice: the firm price comes with the quote.

typical range

Smaller is cheaper by a surprising amount - a part at half the size uses roughly an eighth of the plastic, so it is often far below half the price. If you can be flexible about scale, tick the sizes you would also like quoted on the forms below and we will send each one back by email.

A file you already have

An STL is measured on the spot and priced the same way. A 3MF is stored and measured by hand, because it has to be opened first - you will get the number by email.

A link to a model

MakerWorld, Printables, anywhere the file can be downloaded. Paste the link and we will come back with a price. We read the licence before printing somebody else's model, and if a designer objects, that job ends.
