A pencil holder wearing a puffer jacket: quilted panels all round, with a zip, a collar and sleeves running up the sides. It holds pens, pencils, markers, brushes or small tools, and it is sturdy enough to be knocked about a desk. About two hours of printing, and the quilted panels take filament colours well - solid winter colours, pastels, or something loud.

Two spirals in one print: an outer shell that twists one way and a core that twists the other, turning past each other as you fiddle. Printed in a single colour it reads as one tapering cone; give the shell and the core a colour each and the two spirals separate in the eye as they turn, which is what the designer's own pictures show. The profile that prints it is 0.2 mm layers, 3 walls, 15 per cent gyroid infill, PLA, no supports, standing upright exactly as supplied.

A printable reading ruler with an integrated bookmark pointer. The pointer holds your line while you read and marks your place when the book closes - pick the length that suits your book.

A gyro fidget spinner: three curved rings interlock around a centre post and whirl as one, so it prints in a single piece with no bearings and no assembly - just flick it and go. The rings are loose in their track out of the printer, which is the part that takes a few tries to get right and the reason this one gets measured before it ships.

An arrow holder that takes up to twelve arrows, for shafts up to 11/32 of an inch across. A pinecone geocache: a hollow cone with a screw-on cap and a loop at the top for a string or a length of wire, so it can hang in a branch. It prints in two pieces and neither needs supports. A lid that presses onto an open drinks can and slides shut, keeping dust, wasps and debris out of a beer or a soda between sips. Two fits are on offer: the standard can, whose lid measures 1.4 by 1.9 inches, and a wider one at 1.5 by 2.4 inches for a fatter 16 oz rim. Each prints as a lid and its sliding cover, and the standard lid also comes in the designer's looser-fitting version for a can that runs tight. Christmas ornaments in the shape of balls, in three sizes - 40, 60 and 80 mm across - with the number of double ribs going up with the size: six on the smallest, ten in the middle and fourteen on the largest, each rib 3 mm wide. Each ball prints in two pieces, the ball and the bottom that closes it, and the designer prints that bottom with a support so the curve comes out clean and the ball sits tight against it. A screw-top capsule for the small things that have to stay dry: matches, pills, a spare battery, a couple of picks. A loop on the cap hangs it from a backpack or a bike frame. Six sizes, 48 mm at the smallest and 128 mm at the largest, each printing as a container and its cap with no supports. The designer's optional TPU gasket - the part that makes it properly waterproof - is not something the shop prints, so as printed the thread keeps splashes and pocket lint out rather than a soaking. A snowball maker that presses an 80 mm ball and lets it go whole: two bowl halves on scissor arms, printed in place with no supports and no screws, plus a dowel for the hinge.
