A pinecone geocache: a hollow cone with a screw-on cap and a loop at the top for a string or a length of wire, so it can hang in a branch. It prints in two pieces and neither needs supports. For a cache that lives outdoors, PETG keeps its shape in a hot car or a sunny hedge better than PLA. An arrow holder that takes up to twelve arrows, for shafts up to 11/32 of an inch across. One arrow or a dozen loaded on the same side, it stays upright, and it needs no supports; the designer printed his on an A1 mini. It is not a frugal print - the designer says so himself - so it is priced by what it weighs rather than by the pose. A largemouth bass on a rock, mouth open, fins up, printed as one piece with the base built in: a shelf or desk piece for somebody who would rather be on the water. Two sizes, and both are measured off the designer's own files - 97 mm nose to tail, and 190 mm for the mantelpiece. A sleigh and a reindeer, printed twice each: the sleigh has a curled runner and a seat, the reindeer has antlers and a tail, and both are 5.5 mm deep so they hold shape from the side. A snowball maker that presses an 80 mm ball and lets it go whole: two bowl halves on scissor arms, printed in place with no supports and no screws, plus a dowel for the hinge. The designer tested it through Alaskan winters; 0.12 mm layers keep the overhangs happy, and he publishes a heavier five-wall profile for hard-packed snow if you want this one built that way. A screw-top capsule for the small things that have to stay dry: matches, pills, a spare battery, a couple of picks. A loop on the cap hangs it from a backpack or a bike frame. Six sizes, 48 mm at the smallest and 128 mm at the largest, each printing as a container and its cap with no supports. The designer's optional TPU gasket - the part that makes it properly waterproof - is not something the shop prints, so as printed the thread keeps splashes and pocket lint out rather than a soaking. A can cap that opens the can as well: press it over the top of a standard 355 ml tab can and the drink is covered between sips, with the opener moulded into the same part. A hook keeper that clips onto the rod handle and gives a lure somewhere to sit between casts, instead of swinging at the line. A lid that presses onto an open drinks can and slides shut, keeping dust, wasps and debris out of a beer or a soda between sips. Two fits are on offer: the standard can, whose lid measures 1.4 by 1.9 inches, and a wider one at 1.5 by 2.4 inches for a fatter 16 oz rim. Each prints as a lid and its sliding cover, and the standard lid also comes in the designer's looser-fitting version for a can that runs tight.
