A bowl for rinsing rice: the water swirls through the grain and pours off the side while the rice stays put, so you stop losing half of it down the sink. Two sizes - 6.9" across and a smaller 4.8" - each printed in one piece, with the drain holes and the pouring lip part of the bowl.

A pencil holder wearing a puffer jacket: quilted panels all round, with a zip, a collar and sleeves running up the sides. It holds pens, pencils, markers, brushes or small tools, and it is sturdy enough to be knocked about a desk. About two hours of printing, and the quilted panels take filament colours well - solid winter colours, pastels, or something loud.

A lid that snaps onto a standard can and seals it up again between sips, and doubles as an opener when you slip it over the tab and tilt. It is the wider, support-free version, and it fits both the slim and the fat cans the designer built it around - European 202 cans, so if yours is a different can it is worth a quick measure. Light sanding on the slots is the only finishing it asks for.

An angled, ribbed plant pot for a windowsill, with a drip tray that stands it clear of its own water. The pot tapers up from a 45-degree base and drops into a tray with a hollow reservoir, so what drains out sits below the base instead of wicking back up into the soil, and the tray lifts off to empty. The floor has a 2.5 mm centre hole, a ring of six, and a ring of twelve at the outer edge. Forty-eight round bead ribs run up the angle and on to the rim, so the pot has something to grip and looks alive in daylight. Three sizes, each one as wide as it is tall: 2.5"x2.5", 3.25"x3.25" and 5"x5". It prints as two pieces, no supports and no assembly, in PLA - which is happy on an indoor sill, while a window that bakes in direct sun or a spot outside wants PETG. The last picture is a render of the printable model; the others are photographs of the printed pot.

A japandi vase with a rifted surface: a faceted body that catches the light along its ridges and narrows to the rim.

An arrow holder that takes up to twelve arrows, for shafts up to 11/32 of an inch across. One arrow or a dozen loaded on the same side, it stays upright, and it needs no supports; the designer printed his on an A1 mini. It is not a frugal print - the designer says so himself - so it is priced by what it weighs rather than by the pose. Designed by StickMan and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A bee feeder for the garden: a shallow dish with a landing grid so bees can drink without drowning in it. Fill it with sugar water and hang it or set it among the flowers. The picture is a render of the printable model, not a photograph of a finished print.

$4.46Was $6.60
A pinecone geocache: a hollow cone with a screw-on cap and a loop at the top for a string or a length of wire, so it can hang in a branch. It prints in two pieces and neither needs supports. For a cache that lives outdoors, PETG keeps its shape in a hot car or a sunny hedge better than PLA. Designed by Soalar, who remixed it from Izak02's Pine cone cache - both makers are credited on this page. Printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A lid that presses onto an open drinks can and slides shut, keeping dust, wasps and debris out of a beer or a soda between sips. Two fits are on offer: the standard can, whose lid measures 1.4 by 1.9 inches, and a wider one at 1.5 by 2.4 inches for a fatter 16 oz rim. Each prints as a lid and its sliding cover, and the standard lid also comes in the designer's looser-fitting version for a can that runs tight. Designed by Tiger prints, who remixed EcoDad's Printables lid - both makers are credited on this page - and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Christmas ornaments in the shape of balls, in three sizes - 40, 60 and 80 mm across - with the number of double ribs going up with the size: six on the smallest, ten in the middle and fourteen on the largest, each rib 3 mm wide. Each ball prints in two pieces, the ball and the bottom that closes it, and the designer prints that bottom with a support so the curve comes out clean and the ball sits tight against it. Designed by Jakub Lattenberg and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

The two span 7.9" together and print from one file at about 103 g of plastic. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

A hook keeper that clips onto the rod handle and gives a lure somewhere to sit between casts, instead of swinging at the line. Three sizes, for rod handles of three diameters; the designer prints his in PETG and that is what the shop prints here, since this is a part that goes to the water. Designed by bambaxp and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-ND 4.0), unchanged as published. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A can cap that opens the can as well: press it over the top of a standard 355 ml tab can and the drink is covered between sips, with the opener moulded into the same part. It prints in one piece in about forty minutes with no supports. A screw-top capsule for the small things that have to stay dry: matches, pills, a spare battery, a couple of picks. A loop on the cap hangs it from a backpack or a bike frame. Six sizes, 48 mm at the smallest and 128 mm at the largest, each printing as a container and its cap with no supports. The designer's optional TPU gasket - the part that makes it properly waterproof - is not something the shop prints, so as printed the thread keeps splashes and pocket lint out rather than a soaking. A snowball maker that presses an 80 mm ball and lets it go whole: two bowl halves on scissor arms, printed in place with no supports and no screws, plus a dowel for the hinge. The designer tested it through Alaskan winters; 0.12 mm layers keep the overhangs happy, and he publishes a heavier five-wall profile for hard-packed snow if you want this one built that way. Designed by Lawton Skaling and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A santa hat with the tip curling over: the brim is a raised band, the crown is domed and the tip hangs past the brim, so the shape reads from the side as well as the front. Each hat is 23.8 x 15.3 mm and 5.5 mm tall with a hole through the crown for a hook, and the plate prints six of them, which is three pairs. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A largemouth bass on a rock, mouth open, fins up, printed as one piece with the base built in: a shelf or desk piece for somebody who would rather be on the water. Two sizes, and both are measured off the designer's own files - 97 mm nose to tail, and 190 mm for the mantelpiece. The smaller one is the same mesh scaled down and supported, so the detail is the same at both sizes. Designed by AUTROJAN and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0). A mosquito trap that uses a jar you already have: a funnel that drops into a mason jar's mouth, so a jar of water and a spoon of sugar becomes a trap. The cone lets a mosquito in and the jar's own walls keep it there. Three funnels come off the plate, 76 mm across and 47 mm tall, for the jar sizes the designer covered - standard jam jars among them. Designed by IanFoulds, a remix of the Mosquito Trap by Urasxman, and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.
