A gyro fidget spinner: three curved rings interlock around a centre post and whirl as one, so it prints in a single piece with no bearings and no assembly - just flick it and go. The rings are loose in their track out of the printer, which is the part that takes a few tries to get right and the reason this one gets measured before it ships.

A printable reading ruler with an integrated bookmark pointer. The pointer holds your line while you read and marks your place when the book closes - pick the length that suits your book.
$2.97Was $4.40
Two spirals in one print: an outer shell that twists one way and a core that twists the other, turning past each other as you fiddle. Printed in a single colour it reads as one tapering cone; give the shell and the core a colour each and the two spirals separate in the eye as they turn, which is what the designer's own pictures show. The profile that prints it is 0.2 mm layers, 3 walls, 15 per cent gyroid infill, PLA, no supports, standing upright exactly as supplied.

A pencil holder wearing a puffer jacket: quilted panels all round, with a zip, a collar and sleeves running up the sides. It holds pens, pencils, markers, brushes or small tools, and it is sturdy enough to be knocked about a desk. About two hours of printing, and the quilted panels take filament colours well - solid winter colours, pastels, or something loud.

A hard hat that goes on a keyring - the dome, the brim and the little ridge down the middle, printed in one piece with a hole through the top. 1.5" across, and it works as a key tag or a desk charm.

A phone stand with a woodgrain surface that all but disappears behind the phone, so what you see is the screen standing on the desk rather than the stand holding it. A deep groove with a lipped front edge takes a phone upright for video calls or on its side for standBy and night-clock mode, and it fits anything from a small handset up to a Pro Max. Printed in PLA at 0.2 mm layers, 15% infill, no supports. It is designed for a wood-fill filament, which gives it the grain it is named for, though any matte colour prints just as well. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

A ghost bookmark: a flat spectre that hooks over the page, thin enough not to splay the spine. There are seven of them in the file, each a slightly different ghost, so pick the one you want - about 1.2" by 4" and printed flat. Shown as a render, not a photo.

A thin blade for digging the lint out of a phone's charging port, with a hook at one end and a flat scraper at the other. 34 mm long and a fraction of a gram, so it prints three at a time in a minute - one for the desk, one for the car, one to lose. Shown as a render, not a photo.

A stackable glasses stand: a fin that the cradles slide onto, so the tower grows to whatever height the collection needs. The cradles come in three widths - 67, 77 and 87 mm - and each holds one pair nose-down by the bridge, which suits slim readers and deep sunglass frames alike. The plate prints a whole tower's worth of parts, 167 by 199 mm laid out as the designer arranges it. A glasses rack that lives on the wall: six cradles in a row on one 210 mm plate, 22 mm deep, so six pairs hang out of the way of a counter or a bedside table. The Thinker, sitting on a plinth with his chin on his fist and a pair of glasses resting across his knee: 101 by 141 mm and 114 mm tall, printed in one piece as a desk glasses holder. The pose is what does the work - a pair sits in the crook of the arm and the knee, so it is always where it was put. A modular glasses stand: a round 143 mm base with a spindle, a post that carries two long arms, and a cradle that stacks on the spindle, so two pairs or a shelf-full can be kept upright and out of the way. The arms take frames by the bridge and the base is heavy enough not to tip when one pair comes off. A snowman in two printed pieces: a body with print-in-place joints for the arms, and a head that hangs on its own link so it swings independently as the earring moves. Each is about 30 mm tall, prints flat with no supports, and a pair is two snowmen. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A sleigh and a reindeer, printed twice each: the sleigh has a curled runner and a seat, the reindeer has antlers and a tail, and both are 5.5 mm deep so they hold shape from the side. The plate holds four earrings, a pair of sleighs and a pair of reindeer, and they mix on one ear each way. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Two layered Christmas trees, 33 mm tall, each with a loop at the top for a hook - a few flat layers stacked into a tree, so they read as a tree from the front and none of it is a support to remove. Designed by instintkiller and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). The "+ hooks" option arrives with the metal hooks fitted; the plain one is the printed plastic on its own. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A fidget spinner small enough to live in a pocket: one piece, no bearings, no axle to glue, printed in place so the two halves and their weights come off the plate ready to spin. It is a 15-minute print in the designer's own profile, which is why it makes a good giveaway or market-stock item. Printed in a silk filament the spinning face catches the light. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

A snake, printed flat as one piece: 9.8" from nose to tail, no supports anywhere, and off the plate in about an hour by its designer's own estimate. It prints lying on the plate, so the whole thing is one layer stack rather than a tower that can topple. Shown as a render, not a photo.

$1.34Was $1.99
Two bands that print as one piece: the finned outer ring's ridge sits in the inner band's groove, so it is locked on but free to spin, with no bearings and nothing to assemble. The groove is a BALL RACE - a circular channel, with the ridge as the same circle held 0.4 mm off it - so the surfaces the two parts face each other across are vertical, which is what lets it print in place and still turn. The ring is 27 mm across and stands 7 mm, and the fins are trapezoids: wide where they join the sleeve, narrow at the tip, so nothing on it is a blade waiting to be knocked. It comes in three sizes, 16.5 mm (US 6), 18.2 mm (US 8) and 19.8 mm (US 10) across the finger hole, all at the same price, and the download is a 3MF with a plate for each, so you can print whichever fits - or all three. Print it with a brim and z-hop switched on: a small ring has a small footprint, and z-hop keeps a moving nozzle clear of what is already printed. The STL on its own is the smallest of the three. The photo is a render of the printable model - real photos of the print go up once the first batch comes off the printer.
$5.70Was $8.44
A 3x3 clicker pad: nine keys on one printed body, each on its own spring, so the whole thing clicks under a thumb like a tiny keyboard. 2.6" square, printed in one piece with nothing to assemble. Shown as a render, not a photo.

A pencil that bends: the barrel is printed as a chain of flexing segments, so it folds in your hand and springs straight again, and it still looks like a pencil with a point at one end. 4.8" long, printed in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.
Design by TinkerTogether

An inner cone passes right through an outer one and neither of them comes apart - that is the whole trick, and it prints as a single piece. Roll it in your hands and the two bodies slide past each other, which is the part that keeps fingers busy. Printed in two colours the cones separate in the eye and the pass-through reads as impossible; printed in one it looks like a solid cone until it moves. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

A hanging books-read counter: a sign with a row of numbers that slide into it, so the count can be moved along as the year goes. A plain fidget spinner with no ornament on it at all: a body, three arms and a bearing seat in the middle. Five sizes come off the one plate, from a 1.6" one that fits in a pocket up to a 2.7" one, and the plate also carries the grips that go in the bearing seat. Pick the size you want - each is printed as one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.
