Spiral Twist Fidget Cone

Two spirals in one print: an outer shell that twists one way and a core that twists the other, turning past each other as you fiddle. Printed in a single colour it reads as one tapering cone; give the shell and the core a colour each and the two spirals separate in the eye as they turn, which is what the designer's own pictures show. The profile that prints it is 0.2 mm layers, 3 walls, 15 per cent gyroid infill, PLA, no supports, standing upright exactly as supplied.

Gyro Fidget Spinner

A gyro fidget spinner: three curved rings interlock around a centre post and whirl as one, so it prints in a single piece with no bearings and no assembly - just flick it and go. The rings are loose in their track out of the printer, which is the part that takes a few tries to get right and the reason this one gets measured before it ships.

Hexagon Spiral Fidget

A hexagonal tube cut into one continuous spiral, so it springs and flexes in the hand and the turns of the helix roll past each other under a thumb. It prints as a single piece and needs no assembly, and it stands 2.8" tall by 1.3" across. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Foldable Modular Ruler Set

A ruler that folds: nineteen 160 mm segments that hinge end to end, plus the two end caps, so it measures a room and then folds down to a pocket. The full set is 19 segments; the smaller option is the same design at 70 per cent, which is the one for a desk drawer. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Impossible Passthrough Fidget Cone
32% offBulk deal 4+ + Large order deal

$3.92Was $5.80

Impossible Passthrough Fidget Cone

An inner cone passes right through an outer one and neither of them comes apart - that is the whole trick, and it prints as a single piece. Roll it in your hands and the two bodies slide past each other, which is the part that keeps fingers busy. Printed in two colours the cones separate in the eye and the pass-through reads as impossible; printed in one it looks like a solid cone until it moves. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Modular Stackable Glasses Stand - 3D printed eyewear tower
32% offBulk deal 4+ + Large order deal

$20.24Was $29.99

Modular Stackable Glasses Stand

A stackable glasses stand: a fin that the cradles slide onto, so the tower grows to whatever height the collection needs. The cradles come in three widths - 67, 77 and 87 mm - and each holds one pair nose-down by the bridge, which suits slim readers and deep sunglass frames alike. The plate prints a whole tower's worth of parts, 167 by 199 mm laid out as the designer arranges it. Modular Glasses Stand

A modular glasses stand: a round 143 mm base with a spindle, a post that carries two long arms, and a cradle that stacks on the spindle, so two pairs or a shelf-full can be kept upright and out of the way. The arms take frames by the bridge and the base is heavy enough not to tip when one pair comes off. The Thinker, sitting on a plinth with his chin on his fist and a pair of glasses resting across his knee: 101 by 141 mm and 114 mm tall, printed in one piece as a desk glasses holder. The pose is what does the work - a pair sits in the crook of the arm and the knee, so it is always where it was put. Mini Fidget Spinner

A fidget spinner small enough to live in a pocket: one piece, no bearings, no axle to glue, printed in place so the two halves and their weights come off the plate ready to spin. It is a 15-minute print in the designer's own profile, which is why it makes a good giveaway or market-stock item. Printed in a silk filament the spinning face catches the light. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

DNA Pen Holder

$4.59Was $6.80

DNA Pen Holder

Two strands twisted around each other into a pen stand: a double helix about 22 cm tall on a 14 cm square base, printed in one piece with nothing to assemble. Pens drop into the gaps between the rungs and lean out along the twist, so a handful of them fan apart instead of clumping together in a cup - and the base is wide enough that a full stand does not tip. Empty, it is a desk ornament rather than a mug with pens in it, which is most of what a pen holder does all day. Printed in PLA at a 0.2 mm layer, about 34 g of plastic. Designed by AndreUser and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Guitar Capo

A capo in two printed parts: a jaw that sits across the strings and the lever that clamps it down, 92 mm wide so it spans a standard six-string fretboard. It goes on the neck above the fret and holds the strings at the new position, which is what lets one shape be played in any key. Designed by Kevdev, a remix of the Guitar Capo by HarleyPrints, and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Pick Jesus Guitar Pick

A plectrum printed flat at half a millimetre, 27 mm tall and 24 mm across, with the designer's design across the face - the pun in the name is the whole idea. Thin picks bend more than thick ones, so this is the one for strumming rather than for shredding. Designed by marshal.meacham and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Music Notes

A plate of music notes cut flat at 3 mm: single quavers, beamed pairs, a dotted note and the odd small rest, from 25 mm up to 67 mm long, so a wall, a noticeboard or the front of a piano can be dressed with them. They print lying down, which means no supports and a clean face straight off the plate. Designed by EcneNomma and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Customizable Guitar Pick Holder

A pick holder with four feet that stands on an amp or a desk: slanted slots take plectrums by the tip so they can be pulled out one at a time, and the block is 90 mm long, 28 mm wide and 12 mm tall. The slots are cut at an angle, which is what stops a pick sliding back down into the holder. Designed by gareth7562 and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Trombone Mute - 3D printed practice mute for trombone
32% offBulk deal 4+ + Large order deal

$20.24Was $29.99

Trombone Mute

A practice mute for trombone, printed in three parts: the long tapered body that goes down into the bell, the flared cup that caps it, and the small collar that keeps the two together. 250 mm long and 193 mm across the cup, so it takes a full-size bell. The cup is what does the muting, so the horn can be played in an apartment without the neighbours learning the set list. Minimal Wood Phone Holder

A phone stand with a woodgrain surface that all but disappears behind the phone, so what you see is the screen standing on the desk rather than the stand holding it. A deep groove with a lipped front edge takes a phone upright for video calls or on its side for standBy and night-clock mode, and it fits anything from a small handset up to a Pro Max. Printed in PLA at 0.2 mm layers, 15% infill, no supports. It is designed for a wood-fill filament, which gives it the grain it is named for, though any matte colour prints just as well. Spin Ring - 3D printed print-in-place fidget ring
32% offBulk deal 4+ + Large order deal

$1.34Was $1.99

Spin Ring

Two bands that print as one piece: the finned outer ring's ridge sits in the inner band's groove, so it is locked on but free to spin, with no bearings and nothing to assemble. The groove is a BALL RACE - a circular channel, with the ridge as the same circle held 0.4 mm off it - so the surfaces the two parts face each other across are vertical, which is what lets it print in place and still turn. The ring is 27 mm across and stands 7 mm, and the fins are trapezoids: wide where they join the sleeve, narrow at the tip, so nothing on it is a blade waiting to be knocked. It comes in three sizes, 16.5 mm (US 6), 18.2 mm (US 8) and 19.8 mm (US 10) across the finger hole, all at the same price, and the download is a 3MF with a plate for each, so you can print whichever fits - or all three. Print it with a brim and z-hop switched on: a small ring has a small footprint, and z-hop keeps a moving nozzle clear of what is already printed. The STL on its own is the smallest of the three. The photo is a render of the printable model - real photos of the print go up once the first batch comes off the printer.
