A bowl for rinsing rice: the water swirls through the grain and pours off the side while the rice stays put, so you stop losing half of it down the sink. Two sizes - 6.9" across and a smaller 4.8" - each printed in one piece, with the drain holes and the pouring lip part of the bowl.

A lid that snaps onto a standard can and seals it up again between sips, and doubles as an opener when you slip it over the tab and tilt. It is the wider, support-free version, and it fits both the slim and the fat cans the designer built it around - European 202 cans, so if yours is a different can it is worth a quick measure. Light sanding on the slots is the only finishing it asks for.

A printable reading ruler with an integrated bookmark pointer. The pointer holds your line while you read and marks your place when the book closes - pick the length that suits your book.

An angled, ribbed plant pot for a windowsill, with a drip tray that stands it clear of its own water. The pot tapers up from a 45-degree base and drops into a tray with a hollow reservoir, so what drains out sits below the base instead of wicking back up into the soil, and the tray lifts off to empty. The floor has a 2.5 mm centre hole, a ring of six, and a ring of twelve at the outer edge. Forty-eight round bead ribs run up the angle and on to the rim, so the pot has something to grip and looks alive in daylight. Three sizes, each one as wide as it is tall: 2.5"x2.5", 3.25"x3.25" and 5"x5". It prints as two pieces, no supports and no assembly, in PLA - which is happy on an indoor sill, while a window that bakes in direct sun or a spot outside wants PETG. The last picture is a render of the printable model; the others are photographs of the printed pot.

A low-poly vase built from big flat facets that twist as they rise, so light catches every plane differently. 5.5" across its widest and 3.9" tall, printed in one piece.

A pencil holder wearing a puffer jacket: quilted panels all round, with a zip, a collar and sleeves running up the sides. It holds pens, pencils, markers, brushes or small tools, and it is sturdy enough to be knocked about a desk. About two hours of printing, and the quilted panels take filament colours well - solid winter colours, pastels, or something loud.

Christmas ornaments in the shape of balls, in three sizes - 40, 60 and 80 mm across - with the number of double ribs going up with the size: six on the smallest, ten in the middle and fourteen on the largest, each rib 3 mm wide. Each ball prints in two pieces, the ball and the bottom that closes it, and the designer prints that bottom with a support so the curve comes out clean and the ball sits tight against it. A rose for the top of a 40 oz Stanley cup lid: the bloom prints standing up on the topper, so a plain cup gets a flower on it with nothing to glue in place. It fits the 40 oz lid. Designed by speedster, who remixed Picture_it's blank Stanley lid topper - both makers are credited on this page and both licences are recorded beside the file. Printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0); the topper it is built on is CC BY-SA 4.0, and the print is sold unaltered. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A blank topper that sits on a 40 oz Stanley cup lid, flat and smooth, so it is a base for whatever goes on top: the designer's own page explains how to add text to it in Bambu Studio, choosing the font and the size and then the colour of the topper and of the writing separately. Sold blank, exactly as published. Designed by Picture_it and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A Santa in his sleigh for the corner of a door frame: the sleigh runs behind him as a counterweight, so the piece sits up on its own along the top corner of a door or a window.
