A gyro fidget spinner: three curved rings interlock around a centre post and whirl as one, so it prints in a single piece with no bearings and no assembly - just flick it and go. The rings are loose in their track out of the printer, which is the part that takes a few tries to get right and the reason this one gets measured before it ships.

A one-piece beard comb with rounded teeth that glide through without scraping. Small enough to live in a jacket pocket, and it prints without supports. The solid band above the teeth can carry a name, cut into the surface rather than raised, because a comb lives in a pocket and raised letters are the first thing to wear off: type the name while you are adding it to the cart, up to 12 characters, +$5. A personalized comb is cut to order, so it is paid online rather than reserved for cash at pickup. Leave it blank and it comes exactly as the photos show it.

A pencil holder wearing a puffer jacket: quilted panels all round, with a zip, a collar and sleeves running up the sides. It holds pens, pencils, markers, brushes or small tools, and it is sturdy enough to be knocked about a desk. About two hours of printing, and the quilted panels take filament colours well - solid winter colours, pastels, or something loud.

A lid that snaps onto a standard can and seals it up again between sips, and doubles as an opener when you slip it over the tab and tilt. It is the wider, support-free version, and it fits both the slim and the fat cans the designer built it around - European 202 cans, so if yours is a different can it is worth a quick measure. Light sanding on the slots is the only finishing it asks for.

Two spirals in one print: an outer shell that twists one way and a core that twists the other, turning past each other as you fiddle. Printed in a single colour it reads as one tapering cone; give the shell and the core a colour each and the two spirals separate in the eye as they turn, which is what the designer's own pictures show. The profile that prints it is 0.2 mm layers, 3 walls, 15 per cent gyroid infill, PLA, no supports, standing upright exactly as supplied.

A mini hockey stick for your keys, printed flat in one piece and shaped like the real thing: a shaft that tapers, a blade turned off it at the lie a real stick uses, a heel that rounds into the shaft and a toe that narrows and leans back. The name is cut into the blade along its length, where a stick carries its brand, and roxium.ca is cut along the shaft underneath - both personalized rather than raised, because a keychain gets rattled around in a pocket and raised lettering wears off first. Type the name you want while you are adding it to the cart and it is cut for you - up to 10 characters, +$5 a piece, charged on top of whatever the stick costs, the volume rate included. Wet gloves dry upside down on six tapered, vented posts, over a 4x10 inch floor vent. A glove's cuff slides over a post so warm air from the register goes up through the post and through the glove, drying the inside as well as the out - which is the part that stays wet. The tray is a colander: a lip catches a dribble of water, and a grid of drain holes lets the air up and the water down, and each post drains through its own cup. Bottles and cups fit the posts just as the old stand's did. Sized to sit inside a 4 by 10 inch register, printed in one piece with no supports and nothing to assemble. A fold-over bag clip in one piece, with nothing to assemble: two slim bars on a round hinge, and a hook at the far end that shuts them. Roll the bag's neck over, slide it in side-on between the bars, and press the hook home - the knob at the end of the curl rides over the upper bar's tip and drops into the groove cut behind it, so the clip is held shut by the hook and not by the moulding. Flex the curl back off the tip and it opens again. The hinge is a disc with a hole through it, so the clip hangs on a keyring or a cup hook when it is not on a bag. It prints flat as a single piece with no supports, and PLA holds fine while PETG survives the dishwasher and takes more flexing. Two bands that print as one piece: the finned outer ring's ridge sits in the inner band's groove, so it is locked on but free to spin, with no bearings and nothing to assemble. The groove is a BALL RACE - a circular channel, with the ridge as the same circle held 0.4 mm off it - so the surfaces the two parts face each other across are vertical, which is what lets it print in place and still turn. The ring is 27 mm across and stands 7 mm, and the fins are trapezoids: wide where they join the sleeve, narrow at the tip, so nothing on it is a blade waiting to be knocked. It comes in three sizes, 16.5 mm (US 6), 18.2 mm (US 8) and 19.8 mm (US 10) across the finger hole, all at the same price, and the download is a 3MF with a plate for each, so you can print whichever fits - or all three. Print it with a brim and z-hop switched on: a small ring has a small footprint, and z-hop keeps a moving nozzle clear of what is already printed. The STL on its own is the smallest of the three. A little cauldron with a lid full of bubbles, sized to sit over a battery tea light: the light comes up through the bubbles and the whole thing glows. It prints in two parts, the cauldron and its top, so the top can be a different colour from the pot - the designer printed the tops in plain white and let the tea light do the colour. About 70 to 77 mm tall once the two parts are together. Battery tea light only, never a real flame. A bag peg that works like a clothes peg: two arms on a printed pin, so the ends you squeeze and the jaws are on opposite sides of the pivot, and squeezing opens the jaws. A disc on the upper arm turns inside a socket on the lower one, printed in place with a quarter of a millimetre of air round it - press the peg open and you can feel the pin move. Behind it one strip sweeps round and back to the other arm as a scroll you can see through, and that scroll is the spring: it closes the jaws and it is what you feel working when you squeeze. The mouth is a square-wave channel cut through both jaws at once, so the two sets of teeth come from the same cut and interlock - every tooth of one jaw stands in the hollow of the other - and along the outside of each arm, where a thumb goes, a row of sawteeth bites into the silhouette so the peg does not slip in your hand. It prints flat as one piece, no supports, nothing to assemble. PLA holds fine; PETG survives the dishwasher and takes more flexing. An inner cone passes right through an outer one and neither of them comes apart - that is the whole trick, and it prints as a single piece. Roll it in your hands and the two bodies slide past each other, which is the part that keeps fingers busy. Printed in two colours the cones separate in the eye and the pass-through reads as impossible; printed in one it looks like a solid cone until it moves. A keyring that opens without a metal split ring, printed as one piece with nothing to assemble. The flat band is broken once, and across that break the two ends lap through the ring's own thickness - the socket keeps the lower half, the near end the upper, with a quarter of a millimetre of air between them - so the finished ring reads as one band with a hairline in it rather than two pieces butted together. What holds it shut is the gate's own end, narrowed to a tongue: the band's inner and outer edges step down either side of it, and the tongue carries a rounded bump underneath that sits in a seat cut into the socket. Flex the ring apart and the bump rides up its own rounded side, which is a detent and not friction; let go and it drops back in. The tongue is relieved with a round hole at its root, because that is where it bends when you press it up to open the ring. Flex it, thread your keys on, squeeze it shut.
