A dinosaur cut into interlocking jigsaw pieces and sold as the whole set: twelve chunky pieces, printed flat in PLA, that push together into the animal and come apart again. Two editions, cut differently from the same artwork - Adult and Kid, with the Kid edition's tabs cut larger for smaller hands. Both print as a set with no supports and nothing to glue, and the loose pieces store as the shape they make. The Adult set is about 322 g of plastic and the Kid set about 352 g, so each one is a multi-plate print rather than an afternoon. Designed by oymate and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

A dart-shaped glider printed as one piece: 24 cm nose to tail, 15.8 cm across the wings, 12 mm at its thickest, and about 7 g of plastic. It prints flat, so the whole plane lifts off the plate as one object with nothing to glue together - and being flat it takes a minute or two of plastic rather than a flight. A desk toy that looks like folded paper and will not crease, soak up a puddle or blow off a table. Designed by By_Menen and released into the public domain (CC0 1.0). The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

A reading guide that frames one line at a time so the page cannot swim: 5.1" x 1.4", 1.4 mm thick, light enough to leave in a book. Kept for kids learning to read, and for anyone whose attention slides down a full page. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A dragon-scale egg that opens into two halves, one nested inside the other, with a printed shaker bead rattling in the middle: 47 mm across and 62 mm tall, an Easter egg that is a maraca as well as an ornament. The two halves print on one plate with the bead, and the file pauses at the colour change so the shell can come out in one colour and the dragon scale inside in another. Designed by ThrottleXdesign - a remix four links deep of the Original Dragon Egg by Studio YBL and tonyyoungblood - and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A palm-sized egg shaker for small hands: 40 mm across and 57 mm tall, printed as one closed shell with the rattle sealed inside, so it shakes without anything coming loose that a toddler could get at. Two of them and a kitchen is a percussion section. Designed by craftygirl21 and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A Formula 1 car as flat wall art: the 2024 car cut into a silhouette 2.5 mm thick, with the plane and the rear wing reading from across a room. The designer cuts the long version into pieces for the bigger print; this is the single-piece file, quick enough to print in an evening. A mosquito trap that uses a jar you already have: a funnel that drops into a mason jar's mouth, so a jar of water and a spoon of sugar becomes a trap. The cone lets a mosquito in and the jar's own walls keep it there. Three funnels come off the plate, 76 mm across and 47 mm tall, for the jar sizes the designer covered - standard jam jars among them. Designed by IanFoulds, a remix of the Mosquito Trap by Urasxman, and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A mid-century planter with vertical ribs and its own drip tray, printed at 0.24 mm layers with two walls and 8 per cent infill - the profile the designer recommends for the balance between speed and detail. He also notes a 0.6 mm nozzle does the same job faster and builds just as solid, and that the model scales cleanly if you want it bigger. Designed by Nordic Creativa and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-ND 4.0), unchanged as published. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Six mushroom shelves, each printed with its wall mount built in - no bracket to add and nothing to glue, so a screw in the wall is the whole installation. The caps come in six shapes and sizes, so they can run up a wall beside a plant or dot about independently. Designed by Dr.D, who remixed Moiras_creations' Mushroom shelves - both makers are credited on this page - and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A glasses rack that lives on the wall: six cradles in a row on one 210 mm plate, 22 mm deep, so six pairs hang out of the way of a counter or a bedside table. It prints as one piece with nothing to assemble, and the arms take wire or plastic frames by the bridge. Designed by Matthew and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A Porsche 911 GT3 RS in profile, cut flat at 2.5 mm as wall art: the wing, the arches and the wheels all sit in the silhouette. It is a quick, simple print, and one of the buyers in the designer's own comments puts a red LED behind the tail lights and recommends it. A small star that spins: the arms are printed in place, so the star turns in the hand or on a desk, and at 28 mm across it is a pocket fidget rather than a desk toy. No AMS needed - it prints in one colour. Designed by Amanda Roos and printed under Creative Commons Public Domain; the designer asks only to be mentioned when it is sold, which this listing does. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A hanging books-read counter: a sign with a row of numbers that slide into it, so the count can be moved along as the year goes. It is two plates - the sign with one of each number, and a second sign with the numbers again so the count can pass ten - and either can be bought on its own. Shown as a render, not a photo.

A ghost bookmark: a flat spectre that hooks over the page, thin enough not to splay the spine. There are seven of them in the file, each a slightly different ghost, so pick the one you want - about 1.2" by 4" and printed flat. Shown as a render, not a photo.
