A butterfly cut from one flat plate, wings spread to about 9.5 inches across, with the wing veins and the row of spots opened right through so the wall colour shows in them. It hangs flat against a wall, a window frame or the back of a door, where a shelf ornament would not fit. Sold as the single printed piece. A vase 178 mm tall, its wall twisted into a spiral that narrows as it rises, so the shadow on it moves as you walk past. The designer also publishes a fuzzy-skin version for a soft matte surface and a 40 per cent larger one; this is the original size, printed smooth. Designed by DueMakers and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-ND 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A spiral vase that stands on its own round base. Lloyd Tapper started from Tru!e's spiral flower pot and then fixed the thing that annoyed him - the vase slid around on the base - by adding a notch under the vase and turning the elevators on the base into cones, so the two move together when you pick the vase up. Both makers are credited on this page. Printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

An autumn sign for a windowsill or a shelf: the word Hello stacked over Fall with a pumpkin alongside, flat on the back so it sits against a wall, and printed as separate pieces so the lettering and the pumpkin each take their own filament - the designer printed his in matte white, orange and brown. Designed by JMOS and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A medal rack: two upright spines joined to a flat back plate, with a hooked arm either side of each spine so medals hang in a row instead of sliding into a heap, and the back takes a screw or a strip of tape. About 9.5 inches wide - a whole season of races hangs off it. Designed by donnkey - a remix, in their words, of Alan Břuska's "Věšák na medaile - Medal hanger" on Printables - and printed under CC0. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Cats in silhouette for the wall: four printed pieces - three frames, each with a cat, and one butterfly that hangs between them - every shape cut from 5 mm, so they hang as a set and can be arranged the way your wall wants them. The designer prints them in matte black or another strong plain colour, because the outline is the whole picture. Sold as the set. Designed by carlos_peral and printed under Creative Commons Public Domain, so it is free of conditions. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A vase drawn for spiral vase mode: one continuous wall spiralling up from the foot to the lip, so it prints in a single unbroken pass with no seam, and a light behind it shows the twist. Designed by elio196721 and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-ND 4.0), unchanged as published. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A table number: the digit cut as one flat plate inside an ornate oval frame, standing in a round base. Pick the number you need - every digit from 0 to 9 - and it arrives as the frame and its base, ready to slot together. About 5 inches tall, so it reads from across a room without sitting between two guests. Designed by swirly1007, who made the set for their daughter's wedding, and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A rose and its stem printed as one piece, so there is no assembly at the end: the petals spiral out of the bud and the stem runs down to a base that stands on a desk. The designer prints it as a classic print rather than vase mode, and suggests one perimeter and no infill with a transparent filament if you want the light to come through the petals. The page credits Lytta and RubixDragon for the roses it was built from - all three designers are named on this page. Printed under Creative Commons Public Domain. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by Jo01

A golf tee with a ball sitting on its cup, printed as one piece - a desk trophy, a party favour or a cake pick as much as a tee. 2.3" tall, and barely a gram of plastic. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by LilÕJimbob

A tree-shaped photo frame: a heart in the middle and branches around it holding small photographs, with the plates that back them printed alongside so the pictures stay in without glue or tape. The designer scaled the pieces so the larger tree prints on one sheet, and suggests an acetate sheet in front of each photo to keep the dust off. Sold as the printed set. Designed by PediMR and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-ND 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.
