A hanging books-read counter: a sign with a row of numbers that slide into it, so the count can be moved along as the year goes. A record sleeve stands on a ledge under a patterned back panel, and the ledge carries NOW PLAYING across its face in relief, so the record on the shelf is announced rather than guessed at. 200 mm wide and 159 mm tall - wide enough for a 12 inch sleeve - printed in one piece with no supports under the sign. A plate of music notes cut flat at 3 mm: single quavers, beamed pairs, a dotted note and the odd small rest, from 25 mm up to 67 mm long, so a wall, a noticeboard or the front of a piano can be dressed with them.
