3D-printed products and 3MF downloads from Roxium in Burlington, Ontario

A screw-top capsule for the small things that have to stay dry: matches, pills, a spare battery, a couple of picks. A loop on the cap hangs it from a backpack or a bike frame. Six sizes, 48 mm at the smallest and 128 mm at the largest, each printing as a container and its cap with no supports. The designer's optional TPU gasket - the part that makes it properly waterproof - is not something the shop prints, so as printed the thread keeps splashes and pocket lint out rather than a soaking. A can cap that opens the can as well: press it over the top of a standard 355 ml tab can and the drink is covered between sips, with the opener moulded into the same part. It prints in one piece in about forty minutes with no supports. A lid that presses onto an open drinks can and slides shut, keeping dust, wasps and debris out of a beer or a soda between sips. Two fits are on offer: the standard can, whose lid measures 1.4 by 1.9 inches, and a wider one at 1.5 by 2.4 inches for a fatter 16 oz rim. Each prints as a lid and its sliding cover, and the standard lid also comes in the designer's looser-fitting version for a can that runs tight. An arrow holder that takes up to twelve arrows, for shafts up to 11/32 of an inch across. One arrow or a dozen loaded on the same side, it stays upright, and it needs no supports; the designer printed his on an A1 mini. It is not a frugal print - the designer says so himself - so it is priced by what it weighs rather than by the pose. A pinecone geocache: a hollow cone with a screw-on cap and a loop at the top for a string or a length of wire, so it can hang in a branch. It prints in two pieces and neither needs supports. For a cache that lives outdoors, PETG keeps its shape in a hot car or a sunny hedge better than PLA. A golf tee with a ball sitting on its cup, printed as one piece - a desk trophy, a party favour or a cake pick as much as a tee. 2.3" tall, and barely a gram of plastic. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.
