A dinosaur cut into interlocking jigsaw pieces and sold as the whole set: twelve chunky pieces, printed flat in PLA, that push together into the animal and come apart again. Two editions, cut differently from the same artwork - Adult and Kid, with the Kid edition's tabs cut larger for smaller hands. Both print as a set with no supports and nothing to glue, and the loose pieces store as the shape they make. The Adult set is about 322 g of plastic and the Kid set about 352 g, so each one is a multi-plate print rather than an afternoon. A dart-shaped glider printed as one piece: 24 cm nose to tail, 15.8 cm across the wings, 12 mm at its thickest, and about 7 g of plastic. It prints flat, so the whole plane lifts off the plate as one object with nothing to glue together - and being flat it takes a minute or two of plastic rather than a flight. A keyring that opens without a metal split ring, printed as one piece with nothing to assemble. The flat band is broken once, and across that break the two ends lap through the ring's own thickness - the socket keeps the lower half, the near end the upper, with a quarter of a millimetre of air between them - so the finished ring reads as one band with a hairline in it rather than two pieces butted together. What holds it shut is the gate's own end, narrowed to a tongue: the band's inner and outer edges step down either side of it, and the tongue carries a rounded bump underneath that sits in a seat cut into the socket. Flex the ring apart and the bump rides up its own rounded side, which is a detent and not friction; let go and it drops back in. The tongue is relieved with a round hole at its root, because that is where it bends when you press it up to open the ring. Flex it, thread your keys on, squeeze it shut.
