3D-printed products and 3MF downloads from Roxium in Burlington, Ontario

A dinosaur cut into interlocking jigsaw pieces and sold as the whole set: twelve chunky pieces, printed flat in PLA, that push together into the animal and come apart again. Two editions, cut differently from the same artwork - Adult and Kid, with the Kid edition's tabs cut larger for smaller hands. Both print as a set with no supports and nothing to glue, and the loose pieces store as the shape they make. The Adult set is about 322 g of plastic and the Kid set about 352 g, so each one is a multi-plate print rather than an afternoon. A dart-shaped glider printed as one piece: 24 cm nose to tail, 15.8 cm across the wings, 12 mm at its thickest, and about 7 g of plastic. It prints flat, so the whole plane lifts off the plate as one object with nothing to glue together - and being flat it takes a minute or two of plastic rather than a flight. A dragon-scale egg that opens into two halves, one nested inside the other, with a printed shaker bead rattling in the middle: 47 mm across and 62 mm tall, an Easter egg that is a maraca as well as an ornament. The two halves print on one plate with the bead, and the file pauses at the colour change so the shell can come out in one colour and the dragon scale inside in another. A mosquito trap that uses a jar you already have: a funnel that drops into a mason jar's mouth, so a jar of water and a spoon of sugar becomes a trap. The cone lets a mosquito in and the jar's own walls keep it there.
