A modular glasses stand: a round 143 mm base with a spindle, a post that carries two long arms, and a cradle that stacks on the spindle, so two pairs or a shelf-full can be kept upright and out of the way. The arms take frames by the bridge and the base is heavy enough not to tip when one pair comes off. A pencil that bends: the barrel is printed as a chain of flexing segments, so it folds in your hand and springs straight again, and it still looks like a pencil with a point at one end. 4.8" long, printed in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by TinkerTogether

A cactus that clicks: the body snaps onto a keyboard switch, so the whole cactus is the button and the click comes from the switch inside it. Four designs, sold one at a time - pick the cactus you want, about 1.3" tall, and it prints in two pieces that snap together without glue. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by UKSTL

A star that spins: the points are cut so it turns on its axis in the hand and keeps turning. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by CreaitivityStudio

A stackable glasses stand: a fin that the cradles slide onto, so the tower grows to whatever height the collection needs. The cradles come in three widths - 67, 77 and 87 mm - and each holds one pair nose-down by the bridge, which suits slim readers and deep sunglass frames alike. The plate prints a whole tower's worth of parts, 167 by 199 mm laid out as the designer arranges it. A textured clicker with a body and a set of button caps: the caps press into the body and click under a thumb, and the spare sizes in the set let you choose how stiff it feels. 2.6" long, printed in one go. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by ArmadilloFDM

An inner cone passes right through an outer one and neither of them comes apart - that is the whole trick, and it prints as a single piece. Roll it in your hands and the two bodies slide past each other, which is the part that keeps fingers busy. Printed in two colours the cones separate in the eye and the pass-through reads as impossible; printed in one it looks like a solid cone until it moves. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by What3d

A glasses rack that lives on the wall: six cradles in a row on one 210 mm plate, 22 mm deep, so six pairs hang out of the way of a counter or a bedside table. It prints as one piece with nothing to assemble, and the arms take wire or plastic frames by the bridge. Designed by Matthew and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A chef's hat charm with a banded brim, tall enough to read at a glance on a keyring. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Tim

A snake, printed flat as one piece: 9.8" from nose to tail, no supports anywhere, and off the plate in about an hour by its designer's own estimate. It prints lying on the plate, so the whole thing is one layer stack rather than a tower that can topple. Shown as a render, not a photo.

A bag peg that works like a clothes peg: two arms on a printed pin, so the ends you squeeze and the jaws are on opposite sides of the pivot, and squeezing opens the jaws. A disc on the upper arm turns inside a socket on the lower one, printed in place with a quarter of a millimetre of air round it - press the peg open and you can feel the pin move. Behind it one strip sweeps round and back to the other arm as a scroll you can see through, and that scroll is the spring: it closes the jaws and it is what you feel working when you squeeze. The mouth is a square-wave channel cut through both jaws at once, so the two sets of teeth come from the same cut and interlock - every tooth of one jaw stands in the hollow of the other - and along the outside of each arm, where a thumb goes, a row of sawteeth bites into the silhouette so the peg does not slip in your hand. It prints flat as one piece, no supports, nothing to assemble. PLA holds fine; PETG survives the dishwasher and takes more flexing. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

A 3x3 clicker pad: nine keys on one printed body, each on its own spring, so the whole thing clicks under a thumb like a tiny keyboard. 2.6" square, printed in one piece with nothing to assemble. Shown as a render, not a photo.

A heart that sits on top of a straw, wide and low, catching the light as the cup moves. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Morganja

Two bands that print as one piece: the finned outer ring's ridge sits in the inner band's groove, so it is locked on but free to spin, with no bearings and nothing to assemble. The groove is a BALL RACE - a circular channel, with the ridge as the same circle held 0.4 mm off it - so the surfaces the two parts face each other across are vertical, which is what lets it print in place and still turn. The ring is 27 mm across and stands 7 mm, and the fins are trapezoids: wide where they join the sleeve, narrow at the tip, so nothing on it is a blade waiting to be knocked. It comes in three sizes, 16.5 mm (US 6), 18.2 mm (US 8) and 19.8 mm (US 10) across the finger hole, all at the same price, and the download is a 3MF with a plate for each, so you can print whichever fits - or all three. Print it with a brim and z-hop switched on: a small ring has a small footprint, and z-hop keeps a moving nozzle clear of what is already printed. The STL on its own is the smallest of the three. The photo is a render of the printable model - real photos of the print go up once the first batch comes off the printer.

A bow that clips onto a straw: the straw runs through the middle and the bow sits above the lid. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Wet gloves dry upside down on six tapered, vented posts, over a 4x10 inch floor vent. A glove's cuff slides over a post so warm air from the register goes up through the post and through the glove, drying the inside as well as the out - which is the part that stays wet. The tray is a colander: a lip catches a dribble of water, and a grid of drain holes lets the air up and the water down, and each post drains through its own cup. Bottles and cups fit the posts just as the old stand's did. Sized to sit inside a 4 by 10 inch register, printed in one piece with no supports and nothing to assemble. The photo is a render of the printable model - real photos of the print go up once the first batch comes off the printer.

A six-can holder that spins: six runners hold the cans and the base turns, and it uses very little filament for its size. Four pieces. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by JEP0405

A phone stand with a woodgrain surface that all but disappears behind the phone, so what you see is the screen standing on the desk rather than the stand holding it. A deep groove with a lipped front edge takes a phone upright for video calls or on its side for standBy and night-clock mode, and it fits anything from a small handset up to a Pro Max. Printed in PLA at 0.2 mm layers, 15% infill, no supports. It is designed for a wood-fill filament, which gives it the grain it is named for, though any matte colour prints just as well. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by M_LAB

A clicker keychain with four buttons that press and click, printed in place so nothing needs assembling. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Print3DFamilyFidgets

A fold-over bag clip in one piece, with nothing to assemble: two slim bars on a round hinge, and a hook at the far end that shuts them. Roll the bag's neck over, slide it in side-on between the bars, and press the hook home - the knob at the end of the curl rides over the upper bar's tip and drops into the groove cut behind it, so the clip is held shut by the hook and not by the moulding. Flex the curl back off the tip and it opens again. The hinge is a disc with a hole through it, so the clip hangs on a keyring or a cup hook when it is not on a bag. It prints flat as a single piece with no supports, and PLA holds fine while PETG survives the dishwasher and takes more flexing. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first batch comes off the printer.

A hexagonal fidget that prints flat in a few minutes and clicks between your fingers - no supports, no assembly, no settings to tune. 2.0" across. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by LangHjornArt

A 608 bearing that prints already assembled - the races, the balls and the cage all come off the plate as one piece, and it turns as soon as you break it free. 22 mm across, 7 mm thick, the size a fidget spinner or a skate wheel takes. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Jerryie

A flat key tag that holds the key by its bow rather than its ring, so it lies flat in a pocket and does not rattle. 2.2" long, about 1 g of plastic, printed in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Katejot2017

Ten layered fidget discs off one plate - each about 3" across, each with its own cut-through pattern and its own way of spinning and clicking. Pick the design you want; the picture on each chip is that disc. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by PenguinPrototypes

A hose clamp you print instead of buying: a ring with a screw lug that tightens onto a hose or a duct. Four sizes, measured across the clamp - 33 mm, 40 mm, 60 mm and 88 mm - each printed in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by inhabitworker

A thin blade for digging the lint out of a phone's charging port, with a hook at one end and a flat scraper at the other. 34 mm long and a fraction of a gram, so it prints three at a time in a minute - one for the desk, one for the car, one to lose. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by eclien

A bag clip shaped like a cat, with a spring jaw that holds a chip bag or a coffee pouch shut. 1.6" across, printed in place in one piece - the hinge comes off the plate already working. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Muuurt

A ball that screws into its own cage - the thread holds it, and it spins from one end to the other without ever coming free. 3.9" tall, printed in place in two pieces that come off the plate already assembled. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Elaak

A beer crate for batteries, scaled down to sit on a shelf: stacked sides, a slotted top and a handle you can actually lift it by. Holds a row of AA or AAA cells - pick which, they are separate crates. About 2.7" long. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by JSBallpython

A bit holder that clips to a Ryobi ONE+ battery: the mount takes the loose bits you are using and keeps them on the drill, so they travel with the tool rather than in a pocket. 2.1" long, printed in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Terrain 6

A cap that turns a jar into a fruit washer: fill it, shake, and the water spins the berries clean instead of bruising them. The cap and its inner piece print together in one go - size L fits a standard wide jar. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by ValeraPerinski

A ruler that folds: nineteen 160 mm segments that hinge end to end, plus the two end caps, so it measures a room and then folds down to a pocket. The full set is 19 segments; the smaller option is the same design at 70 per cent, which is the one for a desk drawer. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by PenguinPrototypes

A workshop set of ISO 4017 hex-head screws in M3, M4, M5, M6, M7, M8 and M10, each size on its own plate, so you print the sizes you need and keep a jar of spares. The whole set is seven plates and about 55 g of plastic; the M10 is 2.8" long. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Jerryie

A Christmas cookie stamp and its matching cutter: press the stamp into the dough and the outline cuts clean around it, so the icing has a line to follow. 3.1" across, printed as two pieces - stamp and cutter. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by P2T

A frog that jumps: press its back and it springs off the table, and the pond bowl catches it. Pick the frog on its own or the bowl with it - the bowl is 5" across, and three frogs fit on one plate if you want a set. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Niski

Shims for levelling a cabinet, packing a hinge or shimming a door frame. One plate is four shims - 42 x 89 mm, one each at 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm and 5 mm thick - so you pick the thickness that squares the job up instead of stacking paper. Shown as a render, not a photo.
