A practice mute for trombone, printed in three parts: the long tapered body that goes down into the bell, the flared cup that caps it, and the small collar that keeps the two together. 250 mm long and 193 mm across the cup, so it takes a full-size bell. The cup is what does the muting, so the horn can be played in an apartment without the neighbours learning the set list. A hanging books-read counter: a sign with a row of numbers that slide into it, so the count can be moved along as the year goes.
