A hook remover with a forked end for backing a hook out and a flat end for pushing it through - the tool that means you do not put your fingers near the point. 4.8" long, printed flat in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by eclien

A lizard printed in one piece with no AMS and no supports - ridged back, splayed feet and a tail that curls, sitting flat wherever you put it. Three sizes: 1.7", 3.7" and 4.6" long, the smallest small enough for a keyring. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by AmandaRoos

A bunny printed as a chain of flexing segments with a carrot to go with it, so it curls up in your hand and springs straight again. The set prints as one plate - a 2.4" bunny and its carrot - and comes in a single colour or with the parts in different ones. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by TinkerTogether

A baby dragon sitting up with its little wings folded and its tail wrapped round its feet. 2.1" tall, printed in one piece with no supports, so it stands on a desk on its own. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by CLUCKWORKS3D

A bit holder that clips to a Ryobi ONE+ battery: the mount takes the loose bits you are using and keeps them on the drill, so they travel with the tool rather than in a pocket. 2.1" long, printed in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Terrain 6

A screw toy for small hands: three chunky bolts with matching nuts, the caps they screw into and a long threaded rod - the plate is the whole set. The rod is 7.1" long, and every part is printed oversized so a toddler can get a grip on it. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by hyperZ

A cupcake you can click: the frosting is the button, and it presses down with a proper click and springs back. Two sizes - 1.2" across for a keyring, 1.8" for a desk - each printed in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by MeltedMoose

A jellyfish with a dome for a head and four little tentacles, printed in place on a round stand so it hovers on a desk. 2.3" across the stand, printed as one piece with the tentacles already free. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by slavko

A little bear printed as a chain of flexing segments, with a loop through the top for a keyring - no supports anywhere. 2.2" tall, printed in one piece, and it wriggles when you hold it by the tail. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by TinkerLink

Nine flat dinosaur shapes, 1.6 mm thick and about 4" across, printed as a sheet you colour in and stand up. A pack for a rainy afternoon: colour them, cut them out, stick them to the fridge. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Merilno3D

A caterpillar printed as a chain of flexing segments with a face at one end, so it wriggles along your hand and curls up when you put it down. 6.7" long, printed in one piece, with no supports and no assembly. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Pistachio

Shims for levelling a cabinet, packing a hinge or shimming a door frame. One plate is four shims - 42 x 89 mm, one each at 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm and 5 mm thick - so you pick the thickness that squares the job up instead of stacking paper. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by 3dprinting

A hexagonal tube cut into one continuous spiral, so it springs and flexes in the hand and the turns of the helix roll past each other under a thumb. It prints as a single piece and needs no assembly, and it stands 2.8" tall by 1.3" across. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by NerdHerder

A crocodile printed as a chain of flexing segments, grin and all, with a ridged back and a tail that whips about. Three sizes - 4.7", 5.6" and 7.5" long - each printed in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by SHF3D

An axolotl with its frilly gills out and a smile, printed in one piece with no AMS and no supports. 3.5" long, so it sits on a desk or rides along as a keyring charm. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by AmandaRoos

The topsy tail tool: a loop on a stem that pulls a ponytail through itself, so you can make the flip without a second pair of hands. 7.0" long, printed flat in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Cy-Bea

A pair of lips that sits on top of a straw: the straw passes through the middle and the lips ride above the lid, catching the light as the cup moves. It suits the 10 mm Stanley straws, is 3.9" tall by 2.2" across, and prints in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Morganja

A frog that jumps: press its back and it springs off the table, and the pond bowl catches it. Pick the frog on its own or the bowl with it - the bowl is 5" across, and three frogs fit on one plate if you want a set. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Niski

A workshop set of ISO 4017 hex-head screws in M3, M4, M5, M6, M7, M8 and M10, each size on its own plate, so you print the sizes you need and keep a jar of spares. The whole set is seven plates and about 55 g of plastic; the M10 is 2.8" long. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Jerryie

A ruler that folds: nineteen 160 mm segments that hinge end to end, plus the two end caps, so it measures a room and then folds down to a pocket. The full set is 19 segments; the smaller option is the same design at 70 per cent, which is the one for a desk drawer. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by PenguinPrototypes

Mark the shark as a keychain or as a necklace charm - the same shark in two fittings, one with a ring hole and one sized for a chain. It prints flat with no supports, about 2.4" long. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by dominator334

An octopus with eight arms that trail behind it and a round head with two eyes on top - printed in one piece, no supports. 5.2" across the arms, and big enough to sit on a desk rather than in a pocket. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Davis_County_Library

A desk caddy printed in one piece: a raised back that stands a phone at a reading angle, a round well for pens, and a square tray for a watch, keys or a card, with a slot for a charging cable to pass through. It is 7.1" wide by 3.5" deep. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Maker76

Four Jeep charms, each a different model cut in relief and each with a hole at the top for a keyring or a chain. Pick the one you want - they print flat with no supports and measure about 2.4" by 2.4". Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by dominator334

The classic folded awareness ribbon with a keyring loop at the top, printed flat so the fold reads cleanly on both faces. It is 2.5" long by 1.4" wide and prints in whatever colour you choose. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Miss3DP

A planetary gear set printed in place: six small gears mesh between a sun gear and a toothed ring, so turning any one of them turns all the rest. It is 2.5" across and prints as a single piece with nothing to snap together. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by HurtTree

Five heart shapes, each layered front to back so the colours read as depth: black sits at the back as the outline and the two layers in front are yours to choose, so one colour is the simplest and three makes it pop. Pick the shape you want - each is about 1.6" by 1.5", with a loop for a keyring or a chain. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by dominator334

Eight sports-ball charms, each with the ball's own surface cut into it - soccer pentagons, a golf ball's dimples, a basketball's seams - so they read as the real thing at charm size. Pick the one you want: every ball has a hole for a keyring or a chain, prints flat with no supports, and measures about 1.7" by 2". Four or more of any mix come at the bulk rate. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by dominator334

A layered volleyball charm: the ball's panels are cut as separate raised layers, so the seams read as depth rather than a printed line. It is 1.6" by 1.4", has a hole at the top for a ring or a chain, and prints flat in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by CoisinhasdaManu

A glasses rack that lives on the wall: six cradles in a row on one 210 mm plate, 22 mm deep, so six pairs hang out of the way of a counter or a bedside table. It prints as one piece with nothing to assemble, and the arms take wire or plastic frames by the bridge. Designed by Matthew and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by Matthew

Twenty-six dog charms, each cut with a different dog in relief so it reads at a glance on a keyring or a necklace - the designer's three sets, in one listing. Pick the dog you want: every one has a hole at the top for the ring or the chain, prints flat with no supports, and measures about 1.4" by 2.4". Four or more of any mix come at the bulk rate. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by dominator334

An inner cone passes right through an outer one and neither of them comes apart - that is the whole trick, and it prints as a single piece. Roll it in your hands and the two bodies slide past each other, which is the part that keeps fingers busy. Printed in two colours the cones separate in the eye and the pass-through reads as impossible; printed in one it looks like a solid cone until it moves. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by What3d

A T-rex that holds your page: the dinosaur stands on the spine of the book with its legs either side, and the tail curls over the top. It prints flat in one piece, 3.6" tall. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by UncleFlappy

A stackable glasses stand: a fin that the cradles slide onto, so the tower grows to whatever height the collection needs. The cradles come in three widths - 67, 77 and 87 mm - and each holds one pair nose-down by the bridge, which suits slim readers and deep sunglass frames alike. The plate prints a whole tower's worth of parts, 167 by 199 mm laid out as the designer arranges it. Designed by Badger Sound Forge and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-ND 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by Badger Sound Forge

Three round pet pendants struck like coins, each with a loop at the top for a chain or a keyring and each about 1.7" by 2". The set is all three, printed flat so the faces come out crisp. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by dominator334

A modular glasses stand: a round 143 mm base with a spindle, a post that carries two long arms, and a cradle that stacks on the spindle, so two pairs or a shelf-full can be kept upright and out of the way. The arms take frames by the bridge and the base is heavy enough not to tip when one pair comes off. Designed by Rockthered and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by Rockthered

A phone stand that folds out of a keychain: the plate swings up and the phone leans back on it, and folded away it hangs on your keys. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by musielovsky

A graduation cap and gown on a keyring: the mortarboard tilted over the gown, with a class year or a name across the front on the version the designer included for it. It hangs flat and reads clearly from a distance, which is what a keepsake for a graduate wants to do. Printed as one tag with the layered faces so the cap, the gown and the lettering each read separately. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by Cardboard Junkie

A keyring that opens without a metal split ring, printed as one piece with nothing to assemble. The flat band is broken once, and across that break the two ends lap through the ring's own thickness - the socket keeps the lower half, the near end the upper, with a quarter of a millimetre of air between them - so the finished ring reads as one band with a hairline in it rather than two pieces butted together. What holds it shut is the gate's own end, narrowed to a tongue: the band's inner and outer edges step down either side of it, and the tongue carries a rounded bump underneath that sits in a seat cut into the socket. Flex the ring apart and the bump rides up its own rounded side, which is a detent and not friction; let go and it drops back in. The tongue is relieved with a round hole at its root, because that is where it bends when you press it up to open the ring. Flex it, thread your keys on, squeeze it shut. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first batch comes off the printer.

A chunky little turtle with a big head, four stubby legs and a tiny tail, and a keyring loop moulded into its shell, so it sits on a desk or dangles off a bag. It is 1.6" by 1.2" and prints in one piece with nothing to assemble. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Type1Printing

A palm-sized egg shaker for small hands: 40 mm across and 57 mm tall, printed as one closed shell with the rattle sealed inside, so it shakes without anything coming loose that a toddler could get at. Two of them and a kitchen is a percussion section. Designed by craftygirl21 and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by craftygirl21

A paw that rides on top of a straw: the straw passes through the middle of it, the paw sits above the lid, and the raised pad and four toes catch the light as the cup moves. It is made for the 10 mm Stanley straws, 3.5" tall by 1.6" across, and it prints in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Morganja

A dragon-scale egg that opens into two halves, one nested inside the other, with a printed shaker bead rattling in the middle: 47 mm across and 62 mm tall, an Easter egg that is a maraca as well as an ornament. The two halves print on one plate with the bead, and the file pauses at the colour change so the shell can come out in one colour and the dragon scale inside in another. Designed by ThrottleXdesign - a remix four links deep of the Original Dragon Egg by Studio YBL and tonyyoungblood - and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by ThrottleXdesign

A fidget spinner small enough to live in a pocket: one piece, no bearings, no axle to glue, printed in place so the two halves and their weights come off the plate ready to spin. It is a 15-minute print in the designer's own profile, which is why it makes a good giveaway or market-stock item. Printed in a silk filament the spinning face catches the light. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by DragonFusion3D

A strip that threads onto a guitar strap and holds a stack of picks, so a fresh one is within reach in the middle of a song: 100 mm long and 25 mm wide, printed in one piece. It sits on the strap rather than in a pocket, which is where picks go to be lost. Designed by willywidget and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by willywidget

An articulated baby dragon: the body, tail and neck are cut into segments joined by print-in-place hinges, with the head and its small horns on top. It is 4.5" long and prints in one piece. Choose the finish: solid is the plastic alone, and each extra colour is a filament change at the printer, charged at the shop's $1 a colour. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by BashStudio3D

A baby stone dragon in one piece: the plates of its body are jointed all the way down, so it curls and straightens and holds whatever shape you leave it in, and it stands on its four legs because the legs are part of the same print. This is the wingless one, so nothing catches on a sleeve or a shelf. Two sizes - 4.2 inches and a 2.5 inch pocket-sized version - both printed in place with no supports. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by Bash Studio 3D

A reading guide that frames one line at a time so the page cannot swim: 5.1" x 1.4", 1.4 mm thick, light enough to leave in a book. Kept for kids learning to read, and for anyone whose attention slides down a full page. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.
