A pair of lips that sits on top of a straw: the straw passes through the middle and the lips ride above the lid, catching the light as the cup moves. It suits the 10 mm Stanley straws, is 3.9" tall by 2.2" across, and prints in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Morganja

A Christmas cookie stamp and its matching cutter: press the stamp into the dough and the outline cuts clean around it, so the icing has a line to follow. 3.1" across, printed as two pieces - stamp and cutter. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by P2T

An octopus with eight arms that trail behind it and a round head with two eyes on top - printed in one piece, no supports. 5.2" across the arms, and big enough to sit on a desk rather than in a pocket. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Davis_County_Library

A chunky little turtle with a big head, four stubby legs and a tiny tail, and a keyring loop moulded into its shell, so it sits on a desk or dangles off a bag. It is 1.6" by 1.2" and prints in one piece with nothing to assemble. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Type1Printing

A palm-sized egg shaker for small hands: 40 mm across and 57 mm tall, printed as one closed shell with the rattle sealed inside, so it shakes without anything coming loose that a toddler could get at. Two of them and a kitchen is a percussion section. Designed by craftygirl21 and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by craftygirl21

A paw that rides on top of a straw: the straw passes through the middle of it, the paw sits above the lid, and the raised pad and four toes catch the light as the cup moves. It is made for the 10 mm Stanley straws, 3.5" tall by 1.6" across, and it prints in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Morganja

A dragon-scale egg that opens into two halves, one nested inside the other, with a printed shaker bead rattling in the middle: 47 mm across and 62 mm tall, an Easter egg that is a maraca as well as an ornament. The two halves print on one plate with the bead, and the file pauses at the colour change so the shell can come out in one colour and the dragon scale inside in another. Designed by ThrottleXdesign - a remix four links deep of the Original Dragon Egg by Studio YBL and tonyyoungblood - and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by ThrottleXdesign

An articulated baby dragon: the body, tail and neck are cut into segments joined by print-in-place hinges, with the head and its small horns on top. It is 4.5" long and prints in one piece. Choose the finish: solid is the plastic alone, and each extra colour is a filament change at the printer, charged at the shop's $1 a colour. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by BashStudio3D

A baby stone dragon in one piece: the plates of its body are jointed all the way down, so it curls and straightens and holds whatever shape you leave it in, and it stands on its four legs because the legs are part of the same print. This is the wingless one, so nothing catches on a sleeve or a shelf. Two sizes - 4.2 inches and a 2.5 inch pocket-sized version - both printed in place with no supports. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by Bash Studio 3D

A segmented caterpillar that wriggles: every segment is jointed to the next, printed as one piece with nothing to assemble and no supports, so it comes off the plate already moving. Two lengths - the short one at 5.4 inches and the longer twelve-segment version at 7.2 - and the longer one is the one to buy if you want it to drape and coil in your hand. Prints at 0.2 mm layers in PLA, and it takes a colour change well if you want the segments striped. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by Timmy_1293

A dinosaur cut into interlocking jigsaw pieces and sold as the whole set: twelve chunky pieces, printed flat in PLA, that push together into the animal and come apart again. Two editions, cut differently from the same artwork - Adult and Kid, with the Kid edition's tabs cut larger for smaller hands. Both print as a set with no supports and nothing to glue, and the loose pieces store as the shape they make. The Adult set is about 322 g of plastic and the Kid set about 352 g, so each one is a multi-plate print rather than an afternoon. Designed by oymate and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by oymate

A shark in articulated segments, 110 mm from nose to tail, printed in one piece with the joints already free - it swims through the fingers and lies flat in a pocket. Printed exactly as its designer published it, under Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-ND 4.0), designed by goatbuster. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by goatbuster

A print-in-place finger catapult: two halves that come off the plate already joined, with a sprung arm that flicks a small pellet across the desk. 3.1" long, about 13 g of plastic. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by somtru

Two holders that keep takeaway lids upright and sorted instead of sliding about in a drawer - one for the small lids, one for the large. 6.8" and 4.8" tall, printed as a pair; the designer measured them for Tesco containers. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by FaasteerCZ

A gecko printed as a chain of articulated segments, with its toes splayed and its tail trailing, so it drapes over a shelf edge and stays there. 5.1" from nose to tail, printed in one piece with no supports and nothing to assemble. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Timmy_1293

Four bee-and-honeycomb cutters with stamp inserts - the bee, the flower and two honeycomb shapes. Press the stamp for the detail, cut the outline, bake; each is about 3" across. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Merilno3D

A gripper that clips two chopsticks together into one easy pair - for a child learning, or anyone who has given up on holding two sticks. 1.4" across, printed in one piece, and the large and small blanks are on file for different stick thicknesses. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by RynoRC

A dinosaur that looks knitted rather than moulded - cable ribs down its back, a stitched belly and little knitted feet - printed as one piece. 3.0" long, and the stitch texture is the print itself, not a pattern painted on. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by hjs19

Six coasters shaped like leaves, 70 mm across and 3 mm thick, each with a different vein pattern. Printed flat with no supports, and thin enough to stack in a drawer. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by jdormer9

A cap that turns a jar into a fruit washer: fill it, shake, and the water spins the berries clean instead of bruising them. The cap and its inner piece print together in one go - size L fits a standard wide jar. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by ValeraPerinski

A jack-o-lantern that drowns fruit flies: bait goes in the cup, the lid funnels them down and they cannot get back out. 2.7" across, printed in two pieces with no supports - and it earns its place on the counter for a fortnight in October. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by PolaQ

An orca printed in place: the body and its fins come off the plate as one piece that already moves. 2.4" long, with the eye patch and the white belly reading in black and white filament. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by slavko

A little snake printed in one piece with no AMS and no supports, coiled so it sits up on its own tail. 2.5" long and about 2 g of plastic - a desk pet, or a whole plate of them for a market stall. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by AmandaRoos

Design by Daann_ii

A napkin holder with a voronoi lattice for walls - it holds a stack of napkins and looks like something grown rather than built. 5.1" long, printed in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by IvanChamberlain

A dolphin that looks knitted and bends like a chain - stitches down the back, a fin and a tail that flex. 2.5" long, printed in one piece with a hole through the tail for a keyring. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by OrangeSs

A free-standing kitchen roll holder: a weighted base and a post that takes a standard roll, so the paper comes off one-handed. 8.3" tall, printed in one piece - the stand-alone version needs no wall fixing. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by R3Designs

A fox printed as a chain of flexing segments - pointed ears, a bushy tail and a loop through the tail for a keyring - so it curls in a pocket and springs back. 4.2" nose to tail, printed in one piece. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by OrangeSs

A rubber-band fly swatter gun: stretch the band, aim and let go, and it fires the swatter head across the room. Printed flat in five parts with no supports, about 5.2" long. Remixed by 123木头人 from uhltimate's original Fly Swatter Gun. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by 123木头人

The full-size articulated dragon: plated spine, wings folded along its back, and a chain of joints from nose to tail so it coils around a monitor or a wrist. 7.0" long, printed in one piece with no supports. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Freddie

The articulated dragon shrunk to pocket size: a chain of segments, a plated back and a tail that curls round to the head. 5.2" long, printed in one piece, and small enough to live in a bag. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by MeltyBits

A slug that ripples: a chain of segments under a soft brim, so it flows through your fingers and settles into a curl. Two sizes - 3.5" and 5.2" long - each printed in one piece with no supports. Remixed by Elite_1650 from Teque5's "Friendly Articulated Slug", sold under the same licence. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Elite_1650

Design by Merilno3D

The flexi rex as a keychain: a chain of articulated segments with a loop through the tail, so it jingles and curls in a pocket. 2.5" long, printed in one piece with no supports. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by LukesWorkshopBuilds

A fat little frog printed as one piece, every joint already moving, so it sits on its haunches and waddles about when you nudge it. 1.5" across, in one colour or two. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by TinkerLink

Design by The_echoscapes

An eight-legged octopus printed in one piece with its legs already articulated: no supports, no assembly, and it wriggles the moment it comes off the plate. Small enough for a desk or a pocket, and the designer's own profile runs it at 0.16 mm layers, two walls and 8% infill. It takes a two-colour silk filament especially well, which is how the designer's sample is printed. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Design by Timmy_1293

A fold-over bag clip in one piece, with nothing to assemble: two slim bars on a round hinge, and a hook at the far end that shuts them. Roll the bag's neck over, slide it in side-on between the bars, and press the hook home - the knob at the end of the curl rides over the upper bar's tip and drops into the groove cut behind it, so the clip is held shut by the hook and not by the moulding. Flex the curl back off the tip and it opens again. The hinge is a disc with a hole through it, so the clip hangs on a keyring or a cup hook when it is not on a bag. It prints flat as a single piece with no supports, and PLA holds fine while PETG survives the dishwasher and takes more flexing. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first batch comes off the printer.

A small articulated dragon: body and tail cut into segments joined by print-in-place hinges, so it curls through your fingers. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by BashStudio3D

A six-can holder that spins: six runners hold the cans and the base turns, and it uses very little filament for its size. Four pieces. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Wet gloves dry upside down on six tapered, vented posts, over a 4x10 inch floor vent. A glove's cuff slides over a post so warm air from the register goes up through the post and through the glove, drying the inside as well as the out - which is the part that stays wet. The tray is a colander: a lip catches a dribble of water, and a grid of drain holes lets the air up and the water down, and each post drains through its own cup. Bottles and cups fit the posts just as the old stand's did. Sized to sit inside a 4 by 10 inch register, printed in one piece with no supports and nothing to assemble. The photo is a render of the printable model - real photos of the print go up once the first batch comes off the printer.

A bag peg that works like a clothes peg: two arms on a printed pin, so the ends you squeeze and the jaws are on opposite sides of the pivot, and squeezing opens the jaws. A disc on the upper arm turns inside a socket on the lower one, printed in place with a quarter of a millimetre of air round it - press the peg open and you can feel the pin move. Behind it one strip sweeps round and back to the other arm as a scroll you can see through, and that scroll is the spring: it closes the jaws and it is what you feel working when you squeeze. The mouth is a square-wave channel cut through both jaws at once, so the two sets of teeth come from the same cut and interlock - every tooth of one jaw stands in the hollow of the other - and along the outside of each arm, where a thumb goes, a row of sawteeth bites into the silhouette so the peg does not slip in your hand. It prints flat as one piece, no supports, nothing to assemble. PLA holds fine; PETG survives the dishwasher and takes more flexing. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

Halloween tokens that flip and slide: a disc in a frame that turns over in the hand and clicks through a stop, in five designs from a small 2.6" ghost to a wide 3.4" one. Pick the token you want - each prints in one piece with the disc already in its frame. Shown as a render, not a photo.
