An articulated cat printed as one piece: the segments print with gaps between them, so it bends and curls in the hand and stands up to being carried around. The eyes are part of the same print. Designed by Xeraj, who remixed feketeimre's Flexi Cat - both makers are credited on this page - and printed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0). Ballasted track sections for the Dragon Railway at 1/64: six straight lengths from 50 mm to 300 mm, each printed with its ballast shoulder moulded on, so a layout needs no loose gravel. The set is the six lengths the designer's plate holds, and his recommended minimum radius is 400 mm. The curved sections live in his second file, which prints a whole loop at once - that is a custom print rather than a shelf item, so ask for a quote and the shop will run the curves you need. Designed by RamBros and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A 1/64 scale tanker for the Dragon Railway: the tank, its chassis, walkway and bogies across three plates, about 98 g of plastic. The designer's own profile runs 0.08 mm layers, for the surface the model deserves. It runs on the Dragon Railway bogies and autocouplers, which are separate prints. Designed by RamBros and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A slender dragon printed as a chain of spiky segments that flex and curl, with a horned head at one end - detailed all down its back and small enough to carry. 6.5" long, printed in one piece with every joint already free. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

A small star that spins: the arms are printed in place, so the star turns in the hand or on a desk, and at 28 mm across it is a pocket fidget rather than a desk toy. No AMS needed - it prints in one colour. Designed by Amanda Roos and printed under Creative Commons Public Domain; the designer asks only to be mentioned when it is sold, which this listing does. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A dinosaur cut into interlocking jigsaw pieces and sold as the whole set: twelve chunky pieces, printed flat in PLA, that push together into the animal and come apart again. Two editions, cut differently from the same artwork - Adult and Kid, with the Kid edition's tabs cut larger for smaller hands. Both print as a set with no supports and nothing to glue, and the loose pieces store as the shape they make. The Adult set is about 322 g of plastic and the Kid set about 352 g, so each one is a multi-plate print rather than an afternoon. Designed by oymate and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

A dart-shaped glider printed as one piece: 24 cm nose to tail, 15.8 cm across the wings, 12 mm at its thickest, and about 7 g of plastic. It prints flat, so the whole plane lifts off the plate as one object with nothing to glue together - and being flat it takes a minute or two of plastic rather than a flight. A desk toy that looks like folded paper and will not crease, soak up a puddle or blow off a table. Designed by By_Menen and released into the public domain (CC0 1.0). The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

A dragon-scale egg that opens into two halves, one nested inside the other, with a printed shaker bead rattling in the middle: 47 mm across and 62 mm tall, an Easter egg that is a maraca as well as an ornament. The two halves print on one plate with the bead, and the file pauses at the colour change so the shell can come out in one colour and the dragon scale inside in another. Designed by ThrottleXdesign - a remix four links deep of the Original Dragon Egg by Studio YBL and tonyyoungblood - and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). An eight-legged octopus printed in one piece with its legs already articulated: no supports, no assembly, and it wriggles the moment it comes off the plate. Small enough for a desk or a pocket, and the designer's own profile runs it at 0.16 mm layers, two walls and 8% infill. It takes a two-colour silk filament especially well, which is how the designer's sample is printed. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.
