A Porsche 911 GT3 RS in profile, cut flat at 2.5 mm as wall art: the wing, the arches and the wheels all sit in the silhouette. It is a quick, simple print, and one of the buyers in the designer's own comments puts a red LED behind the tail lights and recommends it. A candy machine that turns a canning jar into a dispenser: a base that screws onto the jar's own lid ring, a knob and a printed pin, so no screw is needed anywhere. Fill the jar with sweets, fit the base, turn the knob and a few drop through. The designer also ships a stronger pin for silk PLA, and a second file for the narrower Hema store jar. A short sword bookmark with its own sheath: the blade marks your page and the scabbard clips back over it. 5.7" long, printed flat, the two pieces together weighing about 8 g. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by Forged in Filament

A print-in-place bag clip: the hinge prints shut and then works, so there are no pins and nothing to assemble. 3.2" long, 1.2" wide. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by printerforge

A set of fifteen Archimedean solids - the truncated and snub forms of the five platonic shapes - each 24 to 33 mm across and printed as one plate. A desk set for a maths classroom or a geometry shelf. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by mikan

A volcano model 5.9" across and 3.1" tall, printed as one piece - a desk piece, or the model for a school project on volcanoes. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by euro100xx

The 2 to 9 times tables on one flat plate, 5" x 3.6" and 1.6 mm thick - a card that lives in a pencil case rather than on a screen. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

An LP on the wall: a back plate with a shelf the cover stands on and two brackets that hold the record upright in front of it, so the sleeve and the disc are both on show. 218 by 214 mm and 187 mm deep, printed as one piece. Designed by LucMonnom and printed under Creative Commons Public Domain. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A reading guide that frames one line at a time so the page cannot swim: 5.1" x 1.4", 1.4 mm thick, light enough to leave in a book. Kept for kids learning to read, and for anyone whose attention slides down a full page. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Design by fgiancarelli

A set of gear examples for teaching - the gears and the pins that hold them, printed as one plate, each gear 80 mm across. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A stand for a pair of drumsticks: a flat 195 mm base and a cradle post that takes them by the shaft, so they stand upright on a riser or a shelf instead of rolling off the kit. 238 mm across as printed, in two parts, with the post sitting in its seat on the base. Designed by jakub.fousek97 and printed under Creative Commons Public Domain. Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

Two clickers that look like lunch: a bao bun with its pleats, and half an avocado with the stone still in. Each is two printed halves that snap together over a switch, so the whole thing is the button. Pick the one you want - about 1.8" across. Shown as a render, not a photo.

A record sleeve stands on a ledge under a patterned back panel, and the ledge carries NOW PLAYING across its face in relief, so the record on the shelf is announced rather than guessed at. 200 mm wide and 159 mm tall - wide enough for a 12 inch sleeve - printed in one piece with no supports under the sign. A strip that threads onto a guitar strap and holds a stack of picks, so a fresh one is within reach in the middle of a song: 100 mm long and 25 mm wide, printed in one piece. It sits on the strap rather than in a pocket, which is where picks go to be lost. Designed by willywidget and printed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Shown as a render of the printable model, not a photograph.

A chef's hat charm with a banded brim, tall enough to read at a glance on a keyring. Shown as a render, not a photo.

A bag peg that works like a clothes peg: two arms on a printed pin, so the ends you squeeze and the jaws are on opposite sides of the pivot, and squeezing opens the jaws. A disc on the upper arm turns inside a socket on the lower one, printed in place with a quarter of a millimetre of air round it - press the peg open and you can feel the pin move. Behind it one strip sweeps round and back to the other arm as a scroll you can see through, and that scroll is the spring: it closes the jaws and it is what you feel working when you squeeze. The mouth is a square-wave channel cut through both jaws at once, so the two sets of teeth come from the same cut and interlock - every tooth of one jaw stands in the hollow of the other - and along the outside of each arm, where a thumb goes, a row of sawteeth bites into the silhouette so the peg does not slip in your hand. It prints flat as one piece, no supports, nothing to assemble. PLA holds fine; PETG survives the dishwasher and takes more flexing. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first one is made.

A heart that sits on top of a straw, wide and low, catching the light as the cup moves. Shown as a render, not a photo.

A bow that clips onto a straw: the straw runs through the middle and the bow sits above the lid. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Wet gloves dry upside down on six tapered, vented posts, over a 4x10 inch floor vent. A glove's cuff slides over a post so warm air from the register goes up through the post and through the glove, drying the inside as well as the out - which is the part that stays wet. The tray is a colander: a lip catches a dribble of water, and a grid of drain holes lets the air up and the water down, and each post drains through its own cup. Bottles and cups fit the posts just as the old stand's did. Sized to sit inside a 4 by 10 inch register, printed in one piece with no supports and nothing to assemble. The photo is a render of the printable model - real photos of the print go up once the first batch comes off the printer.

A six-can holder that spins: six runners hold the cans and the base turns, and it uses very little filament for its size. Four pieces. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by JEP0405

A ghost bookmark: a flat spectre that hooks over the page, thin enough not to splay the spine. There are seven of them in the file, each a slightly different ghost, so pick the one you want - about 1.2" by 4" and printed flat. Shown as a render, not a photo.

A fold-over bag clip in one piece, with nothing to assemble: two slim bars on a round hinge, and a hook at the far end that shuts them. Roll the bag's neck over, slide it in side-on between the bars, and press the hook home - the knob at the end of the curl rides over the upper bar's tip and drops into the groove cut behind it, so the clip is held shut by the hook and not by the moulding. Flex the curl back off the tip and it opens again. The hinge is a disc with a hole through it, so the clip hangs on a keyring or a cup hook when it is not on a bag. It prints flat as a single piece with no supports, and PLA holds fine while PETG survives the dishwasher and takes more flexing. The picture is a render of the printable model - real photographs of the print go up once the first batch comes off the printer.

A bag clip shaped like a cat, with a spring jaw that holds a chip bag or a coffee pouch shut. 1.6" across, printed in place in one piece - the hinge comes off the plate already working. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by Muuurt

A cap that turns a jar into a fruit washer: fill it, shake, and the water spins the berries clean instead of bruising them. The cap and its inner piece print together in one go - size L fits a standard wide jar. Shown as a render, not a photo.

Design by ValeraPerinski

A Christmas cookie stamp and its matching cutter: press the stamp into the dough and the outline cuts clean around it, so the icing has a line to follow. 3.1" across, printed as two pieces - stamp and cutter. Shown as a render, not a photo.
