A candy machine that turns a canning jar into a dispenser: a base that screws onto the jar's own lid ring, a knob and a printed pin, so no screw is needed anywhere. A mushroom charm in three pieces that press together: a domed cap, the gills under it and a stem with fixing pegs. Printing it in parts lets the cap take one colour and the stem another, and the assembled charm is about 23 mm tall and 13 mm across with a hole in the cap for a hook. A flat-pack stand for holding earrings: a base plate, two uprights and a crossbar that slot into each other, with the uprights stepped so pairs hang at different heights instead of bunching. Assembled it is about 170 x 100 mm and stands 13 mm deep, big enough for a shelf or a dresser top. It prints as four flat pieces with no supports and comes to about 83 g of plastic. Christmas ornaments in the shape of balls, in three sizes - 40, 60 and 80 mm across - with the number of double ribs going up with the size: six on the smallest, ten in the middle and fourteen on the largest, each rib 3 mm wide. Each ball prints in two pieces, the ball and the bottom that closes it, and the designer prints that bottom with a support so the curve comes out clean and the ball sits tight against it. A lid that presses onto an open drinks can and slides shut, keeping dust, wasps and debris out of a beer or a soda between sips. Two fits are on offer: the standard can, whose lid measures 1.4 by 1.9 inches, and a wider one at 1.5 by 2.4 inches for a fatter 16 oz rim. A rose and its stem printed as one piece, so there is no assembly at the end: the petals spiral out of the bud and the stem runs down to a base that stands on a desk. A screw-top capsule for the small things that have to stay dry: matches, pills, a spare battery, a couple of picks. A loop on the cap hangs it from a backpack or a bike frame. The designer's optional TPU gasket - the part that makes it properly waterproof - is not something the shop prints, so as printed the thread keeps splashes and pocket lint out rather than a soaking.
