A screw-top capsule for the small things that have to stay dry: matches, pills, a spare battery, a couple of picks. A loop on the cap hangs it from a backpack or a bike frame. Six sizes, 48 mm at the smallest and 128 mm at the largest, each printing as a container and its cap with no supports. The designer's optional TPU gasket - the part that makes it properly waterproof - is not something the shop prints, so as printed the thread keeps splashes and pocket lint out rather than a soaking. One little ghost, three sizes of it: Small is 35 mm tall, Medium 45 mm and Large 64 mm, so a shelf can gather a few rather than carry a loner. Each prints as a rounded little spectre with a friendly face and no supports. Every ghost is its own object on the plate, so no multi-colour printer is needed - print them in different colours and they arrive as a set. A keyring that opens without a metal split ring, printed as one piece with nothing to assemble. The flat band is broken once, and across that break the two ends lap through the ring's own thickness - the socket keeps the lower half, the near end the upper, with a quarter of a millimetre of air between them - so the finished ring reads as one band with a hairline in it rather than two pieces butted together. What holds it shut is the gate's own end, narrowed to a tongue: the band's inner and outer edges step down either side of it, and the tongue carries a rounded bump underneath that sits in a seat cut into the socket. Flex the ring apart and the bump rides up its own rounded side, which is a detent and not friction; let go and it drops back in. The tongue is relieved with a round hole at its root, because that is where it bends when you press it up to open the ring. Flex it, thread your keys on, squeeze it shut. A bag peg that works like a clothes peg: two arms on a printed pin, so the ends you squeeze and the jaws are on opposite sides of the pivot, and squeezing opens the jaws. A disc on the upper arm turns inside a socket on the lower one, printed in place with a quarter of a millimetre of air round it - press the peg open and you can feel the pin move. Behind it one strip sweeps round and back to the other arm as a scroll you can see through, and that scroll is the spring: it closes the jaws and it is what you feel working when you squeeze. The mouth is a square-wave channel cut through both jaws at once, so the two sets of teeth come from the same cut and interlock - every tooth of one jaw stands in the hollow of the other - and along the outside of each arm, where a thumb goes, a row of sawteeth bites into the silhouette so the peg does not slip in your hand. It prints flat as one piece, no supports, nothing to assemble. PLA holds fine; PETG survives the dishwasher and takes more flexing. Candle holders that let the light out through the walls: a Voronoi web of gaps and ridges so the flame - a battery tealight, never a real one - glows through the whole shell rather than out of the top. A fold-over bag clip in one piece, with nothing to assemble: two slim bars on a round hinge, and a hook at the far end that shuts them. Roll the bag's neck over, slide it in side-on between the bars, and press the hook home - the knob at the end of the curl rides over the upper bar's tip and drops into the groove cut behind it, so the clip is held shut by the hook and not by the moulding. Flex the curl back off the tip and it opens again. The hinge is a disc with a hole through it, so the clip hangs on a keyring or a cup hook when it is not on a bag. A "Happy Birthday" cake topper cut from one flat plate: HAPPY in bold capitals above birthday in a flowing script, both outlined as one continuous shape on a straight stem. Push the stem into the top of the cake and the words sit clear above the icing, so a small round cake or a sheet cake both read from across the room. Wet gloves dry upside down on six tapered, vented posts, over a 4x10 inch floor vent. A glove's cuff slides over a post so warm air from the register goes up through the post and through the glove, drying the inside as well as the out - which is the part that stays wet. The tray is a colander: a lip catches a dribble of water, and a grid of drain holes lets the air up and the water down, and each post drains through its own cup. Bottles and cups fit the posts just as the old stand's did. Sized to sit inside a 4 by 10 inch register, printed in one piece with no supports and nothing to assemble.
