A mosquito trap that uses a jar you already have: a funnel that drops into a mason jar's mouth, so a jar of water and a spoon of sugar becomes a trap. The cone lets a mosquito in and the jar's own walls keep it there. Three funnels come off the plate, 76 mm across and 47 mm tall, for the jar sizes the designer covered - standard jam jars among them. A largemouth bass on a rock, mouth open, fins up, printed as one piece with the base built in: a shelf or desk piece for somebody who would rather be on the water. A candy machine that turns a canning jar into a dispenser: a base that screws onto the jar's own lid ring, a knob and a printed pin, so no screw is needed anywhere. A pinecone geocache: a hollow cone with a screw-on cap and a loop at the top for a string or a length of wire, so it can hang in a branch. It prints in two pieces and neither needs supports. Plant labels for a garden that gets replanted: the designer built them parametric, so the size, the shape and the lettering can all be cut to suit a bed, and each label takes only a few grams of filament even with a colour change. A lid that presses onto an open drinks can and slides shut, keeping dust, wasps and debris out of a beer or a soda between sips. Two fits are on offer: the standard can, whose lid measures 1.4 by 1.9 inches, and a wider one at 1.5 by 2.4 inches for a fatter 16 oz rim. Each prints as a lid and its sliding cover, and the standard lid also comes in the designer's looser-fitting version for a can that runs tight. A snowball maker that presses an 80 mm ball and lets it go whole: two bowl halves on scissor arms, printed in place with no supports and no screws, plus a dowel for the hinge. A screw-top capsule for the small things that have to stay dry: matches, pills, a spare battery, a couple of picks. A loop on the cap hangs it from a backpack or a bike frame. Six sizes, 48 mm at the smallest and 128 mm at the largest, each printing as a container and its cap with no supports. The designer's optional TPU gasket - the part that makes it properly waterproof - is not something the shop prints, so as printed the thread keeps splashes and pocket lint out rather than a soaking. Two bands that print as one piece: the finned outer ring's ridge sits in the inner band's groove, so it is locked on but free to spin, with no bearings and nothing to assemble. The groove is a BALL RACE - a circular channel, with the ridge as the same circle held 0.4 mm off it - so the surfaces the two parts face each other across are vertical, which is what lets it print in place and still turn. The ring is 27 mm across and stands 7 mm, and the fins are trapezoids: wide where they join the sleeve, narrow at the tip, so nothing on it is a blade waiting to be knocked. It comes in three sizes, 16.5 mm (US 6), 18.2 mm (US 8) and 19.8 mm (US 10) across the finger hole, all at the same price, and the download is a 3MF with a plate for each, so you can print whichever fits - or all three. Print it with a brim and z-hop switched on: a small ring has a small footprint, and z-hop keeps a moving nozzle clear of what is already printed. The STL on its own is the smallest of the three.
