A "Happy Birthday" cake topper cut from one flat plate: HAPPY in bold capitals above birthday in a flowing script, both outlined as one continuous shape on a straight stem. Push the stem into the top of the cake and the words sit clear above the icing, so a small round cake or a sheet cake both read from across the room. The designer prints it in black with white letters; one colour works just as well, and the outline is thick enough to carry it. Wet gloves dry upside down on six tapered, vented posts, over a 4x10 inch floor vent. A glove's cuff slides over a post so warm air from the register goes up through the post and through the glove, drying the inside as well as the out - which is the part that stays wet. The tray is a colander: a lip catches a dribble of water, and a grid of drain holes lets the air up and the water down, and each post drains through its own cup. Bottles and cups fit the posts just as the old stand's did. Sized to sit inside a 4 by 10 inch register, printed in one piece with no supports and nothing to assemble. A saddle that pins a length of half-inch PVC pipe flat to a wall or a ceiling: an arch over the pipe with a screw hole at each end, so the pipe is held at the fixings rather than resting in a clip that lets it slide. The designer made it to run a porch mister system along the back of a house, which is exactly the job - long runs of pipe that have to stay level and stay put.
