A vase with a wave running up its wall - a single spiralling surface, so the ridges catch the light differently as you walk past it. 180 mm tall, and shaped for dried flowers, pampas, feathers, or for nothing at all in a bare corner. A little cauldron with a lid full of bubbles, sized to sit over a battery tea light: the light comes up through the bubbles and the whole thing glows. It prints in two parts, the cauldron and its top, so the top can be a different colour from the pot - the designer printed the tops in plain white and let the tea light do the colour. About 70 to 77 mm tall once the two parts are together. Battery tea light only, never a real flame. A pair of leaf earrings: a pointed leaf with its veins cut into the face, light enough to wear all day at a bit over a gram the pair. They print flat with a hole at the top for the hook, so nothing else is needed but the ear wire. Each is 1.9" by 0.8". A bag peg that works like a clothes peg: two arms on a printed pin, so the ends you squeeze and the jaws are on opposite sides of the pivot, and squeezing opens the jaws. A disc on the upper arm turns inside a socket on the lower one, printed in place with a quarter of a millimetre of air round it - press the peg open and you can feel the pin move. Behind it one strip sweeps round and back to the other arm as a scroll you can see through, and that scroll is the spring: it closes the jaws and it is what you feel working when you squeeze. The mouth is a square-wave channel cut through both jaws at once, so the two sets of teeth come from the same cut and interlock - every tooth of one jaw stands in the hollow of the other - and along the outside of each arm, where a thumb goes, a row of sawteeth bites into the silhouette so the peg does not slip in your hand. It prints flat as one piece, no supports, nothing to assemble. PLA holds fine; PETG survives the dishwasher and takes more flexing. Candle holders that let the light out through the walls: a Voronoi web of gaps and ridges so the flame - a battery tealight, never a real one - glows through the whole shell rather than out of the top. The set is three holders, three diffusers and the base plate that carries them; print the holders in matte black and the diffusers in white, which is the pairing the designer built it around, and a single holder works just as well on its own. A fold-over bag clip in one piece, with nothing to assemble: two slim bars on a round hinge, and a hook at the far end that shuts them. Roll the bag's neck over, slide it in side-on between the bars, and press the hook home - the knob at the end of the curl rides over the upper bar's tip and drops into the groove cut behind it, so the clip is held shut by the hook and not by the moulding. Flex the curl back off the tip and it opens again. The hinge is a disc with a hole through it, so the clip hangs on a keyring or a cup hook when it is not on a bag. It prints flat as a single piece with no supports, and PLA holds fine while PETG survives the dishwasher and takes more flexing. A "Happy Birthday" cake topper cut from one flat plate: HAPPY in bold capitals above birthday in a flowing script, both outlined as one continuous shape on a straight stem. Push the stem into the top of the cake and the words sit clear above the icing, so a small round cake or a sheet cake both read from across the room. The designer prints it in black with white letters; one colour works just as well, and the outline is thick enough to carry it. Wet gloves dry upside down on six tapered, vented posts, over a 4x10 inch floor vent. A glove's cuff slides over a post so warm air from the register goes up through the post and through the glove, drying the inside as well as the out - which is the part that stays wet. The tray is a colander: a lip catches a dribble of water, and a grid of drain holes lets the air up and the water down, and each post drains through its own cup. Bottles and cups fit the posts just as the old stand's did. Sized to sit inside a 4 by 10 inch register, printed in one piece with no supports and nothing to assemble.
