A gravity latch for a wooden gate: the arm drops into its catch, so the gate stays shut by itself and opens with one lift from either side. A saddle that pins a length of half-inch PVC pipe flat to a wall or a ceiling: an arch over the pipe with a screw hole at each end, so the pipe is held at the fixings rather than resting in a clip that lets it slide. The designer made it to run a porch mister system along the back of a house, which is exactly the job - long runs of pipe that have to stay level and stay put. A bird feeder shaped like a little house that hangs a fat ball under its own roof: two vertical holes take screws if it is going on a fence, two horizontal ones take a cord if it is going round a tree, so it can be fixed where a feeder normally cannot.
